The winning form continues with the latest speakers, which are closely related to Wharfedale’s equally renowned Diamond 12 series. Full-range satellite speakers for dynamic sound
Based on Wharfedale’s Diamond 12 series technology, the four satellite speakers deliver a much fuller and more rounded sound than most satellite designs. Although slightly larger than some, the benefit to sound quality is huge. All four speakers are a two-way design with dedicated silk dome tweeter and woven polypropylene woofer. Along with the rigid cabinets, it’s these drivers that produce the precise, dynamic sound that’s perfect for delivering immersive soundtracks and special effects around your room.
Dedicated centre speaker delivers vocal clarity
Designed specifically for the purpose, the DX-3’s centre speaker utilises an aperiodic layout for the clearest vocals. The horizontal format speaker uses twin woofers, giving you a broad spread of sound between the front speakers, without ‘gaps’ in the sound stage. The design also helps tie the sound to the screen, especially when used with a large screen TV or projector.
Powerful bass response
For that edge-of-seat, cinematic thrill, a powerful bass response is a must, and that’s exactly what the DX-3’s subwoofer provides. With its 8” cone and 75 watt active amplifier, it masters every bass scenario with ease. From an energetic soundtrack to a stadium rock concert, the bass is always there to be felt as well as heard. Auto on/off means that you can place the subwoofer out of sight, without having to reach the controls. Phase inversion lets you position the subwoofer behind you, if needed.

Available in Black oak or Walnut finishes, the DX-3 speaker pack makes a great match for a wide range of decors. Iv tested wharfedale DX3 last night by the way good delivery service too
The actually better then the DX2 still simple to install better looking then the DX2 an the sound wow I noticed a big difference in the sound quality I put a good sounding movie on yes a big difference
