Easy too set up great features
I have had now for a few months and it’s fantastic , loads of power tight clean and detailed, I have 800w front, 400w rear , 150w front and a small 350w sub very happy

I took delivery of the RXV4A back in February 2022. It worked really well, but developed a faulty processing HDMI. Richer Sounds had it back twice for repair, and were really helpful. The repairs were quite swift. Anyway, I bought a new LG Oled TV a few days from the Brighton store. When I connected it all up I couldn't get any sound through the HDMI ARC socket. I got on to Richer Sounds at Brighton and there and then they offered to exchange the faulty uni with a brand new model. I accepted and it arrived the next day. Connected up and - Hooray - Instant sound and connectivity. A really good example of excellent customer service. Thank you Nick and Damien. The sound is great, the facilities are great. Very pleased with the performance.

Great features and Great Price
I bought this Receiver on Boxing Day online and got it a little cheaper using the VIP.
Before this I was using a Yamaha Hi-fi for the last year 7 years. As I had a new television, I wanted better sound and boosting of the picture. I can say that it works in every area the sound is excellent and dialogue has never been clearer. I am a totally novice so I must give a shout out to Sean I believe from the Bath branch, who put up with all my silly questions over the phone, thank you for you excellent service. The system is easy, and I have tested without using the YPAO mic and with, I would totally recommend using the mic as it balances out the sound you would hear in your room. Although it has streaming capabilities, I prefer the quality of a stand-alone streamer, so I have a Eversolo DMP-6 attached to it. You can use a record player but its going to have a built-in phono pre-amplifier, or you need to get one separately. Top Gun Maverick is an excellent test for this system sound wise and it passes the test with flying colours, but I must remember that I have neighbours. Clarity of dialogue is great even a lower volume and you can plug headphone in. To be honest even at this stage I am still testing out the system. But for now, I fully recommend this system if though its entry level.

Good But!
Problem with my Yamaha. Richer Sounds could not have been more helpful. Although less than 2 years old Yamaha could not get parts so was given new machine under Yamaha warranty which meant my 6 year Richer Sounds warranty started again from date of new machine. Really like quality of the Yamaha, good value for money, but thanks to Richer Sounds the problem was swiftly corrected. Great service!

Yamaha RX-V4A AV Amplifier
Just turned up today and what a beautiful looking bit of kit !!
I was not sure but after talking to Dave on the telephone for 30 minutes about spec and compatibility with iOS equipment he was very patient and knowledgeable about the product!!
It’s taken a couple of hours to install and it sounds amazing I’ve installed the app so can’t wait to get to grips with all the extra features that we didn’t discuss so far so good great value with a massive spec thank you Richer Sounds well worth the 5 stars
