Compact speaker with big sound
Using a very rigid cabinet, high quality drivers and AVID’s unique TMT (Tuned Mass Technology), the EVO FOUR offers extremely well balanced and natural sound. Thanks to External Voice Coil technology and Uniflow woofer chassis, the bass response is not just more natural than you might expect from a smaller speaker, but more powerful, too.
Silk dome tweeter for smooth top-end
Starting at the top end, the EVO FOUR utilises an Acuflex, soft silk dome tweeter. This cancels out frequency breakup, helping to give the speaker an incredibly smooth and low distortion high end response. Positioning the tweeter within an Improved Dispersion Recess aluminium baffle, means that the high frequency sound is spread across a wider area. This gives everyone in the room the most balanced sound, reducing the ‘sweet spot’ you get from many speakers.
Bass freedom
The bass driver’s chassis uses a Uniflow, aerodynamically designed basket. This lets the compressed air escape quickly and smoothly, helping to speed-up the bass and contributing towards snappier timing and a punchier response. Combined with the efficient External Voice Coil, it also means the bass unit has more freedom from distortion, letting you enjoy a deeper, more powerful bass into the bargain.
Tuned Mass Technology for ultra-low distortion
AVID’s exclusive Tuned Mass Technology uses a damper to remove unwanted vibration. This keeps the bass cone as free as possible from distortion and colouration, giving you the clearest, most natural sound possible.

Featuring a downwards-firing bass reflex port, the EVO FOUR stand on elegant column feet. The tapered design reduces the visual bulk, helping them blend in with your room. Available in gloss black or white, each finish has a distinct personality.
