Fully balanced design for the cleanest most consistent sound
Harnessing the fully balanced design from their flagship model, the AVID Pellere delivers crystal-clear clarity and a resolute resistance to distortion. Taking the balanced principle to its full extent, balanced XLR inputs and outputs let you connect to suitably equipped tonearms and amplifiers for incredibly lifelike and distortion-free sound.
Two-box solution for ultimate sound quality
With the phonostage electronics in one box and the power supply in another, the AVID Pellere is engineered to deliver the highest standards in sound quality. Having the power supply in a separate, fully shielded casing reduces the electrical noise and vibration inside the phono preamp’s casing, greatly reducing distortion.
Outstandingly low noise lets you hear more
As well utilizing a dedicated power supply (PSU), the Pellere uses many of the high specification components from AVID’s flagship model. When combined with the separate PSU, this helps the Pellere produce outstandingly low levels of background noise. This massively reduces the ‘hiss’ you hear from phono inputs – especially as the volume increases. Less background noise means that fine, musical detail is easier to decipher, letting you hear passages of music that you might have missed before.
Suits all types of cartridges
Whatever cartridge your turntable uses, the Pellere delivers. From the box, the Pellere is set for MM (Moving Magnet). To adjust for a Low, Mid or High gain MC (Moving Coil) cartridge, simply switch the settings located underneath the casing.
Fully adjustable to suit your specific cartridge
Underneath the Pellere, you’ll find fully adjustable cartridge loading switches. These let you adjust the gain, capacitance and resistance loads to precisely suit your cartridge. Find your cartridge’s specs in its manual or online and adjust the switches to suit, giving you perfectly tailored sound.
