The two-box design has a separate power supply for ultra-low noise and a wise dynamic response. Easy to access cartridge settings
Instead of being underneath, at the back or even inside, the Pulsare II’s main cartridge settings are conveniently located on the front fascia. You can choose between MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) Low, Mid and High settings at the flick of a switch. You can also dial in the perfect resistance and capacitance settings.
Run two cartridges
The quick and easy adjustment makes the Pulsare II ideal for using with multi-cartridge decks. Furthermore, with selectable XLR and RCA phono inputs, you can leave two cartridges permanently connected, switching between the two without having to disconnect cables.
Mono and Subsonic switches
This flagship phono pre-amp comes with carefully integrated Mono and Subsonic switches that can, in some cases, enhance the sound. For older mono recordings, the Mono switch optimises the soundstaging, giving a more focused sound. Subsonic is handy for warped records and certain recordings where sound below the hearing level causes excessive, rapid bass woofer movement.
