“The D-M41DAB is impressive proof that great pound-for-pound hi-fi sound need not always mean several separate components” What Hi-Fi Award Winner 2017

Bluetooth now standard
For the first time, Denon’s best-selling Hi-Fi mini system comes with Bluetooth connectivity. This lets you wirelessly connect your smartphone or tablet and stream your stored music or favourite streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. For improved sound quality when not using Bluetooth, a simple switch lets you power down the circuits, creating less internal electrical noise.

The compact system that still puts sound first
Denon’s baby Hi-Fi systems have always been renowned for putting sound first and the DM41 DAB is no different. "Simple & Straight" circuit design minimizes distortion from the input selector, electronic volume control and power amp for sound purity and very low levels of distortion. Working alongside this, Triple Noise Reduction Design (TNRD) works to preserve the signal quality for the most accurate, life-like sound.

DAB radio
The Denon DM41 DAB comes with an impressive sounding tuner radio that's comprehensively equipped. Featuring DAB+, DAB and FM (RDS), the tuner has all your radio needs covered and, as ever, puts sound quality first.

Top quality CD player
Many of us still have a sizeable CD collection and it’s here where the DM41 really excels. Denon’s first-rate engineering gives CDs a smooth, dynamic sound. The player is also flexible enough to playback WMA and MP3 encoded discs.

Connect up three other components
Although a brilliant system in its own right, the DM41DAB reaches out to your other sources, too. If you've got a TV, games console or TV set-top box, you can plug them in using the two standard optical inputs. An analogue AUX input is also included for older sources.

Pump up the bass with an optional subwoofer
By fitting a subwoofer output, Denon gives you a wider choice of speaker options. Instead of medium-sized or floorstanding speakers you can use an active subwoofer with small satellite speakers - the choice is yours.

Perfect for a second room
The compact size makes the DM41 DAB ideal for serious sound in a second room. Many have used their previous Denon M-Series systems in bedrooms, studies and kitchens and have been delighted with the results. The clock, sleep timer and headphone output all help improve the systems functionality.

Proper Hi-Fi in a compact box – the Denon DM41 DAB still leads its class.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poweerful mini I bought this to replace outdated tuner and CD player. I am using it now in conjunction with a Brennan JB7 'jukebox' playing, in the main, classical music. Sound quality is excellent through the range and across various genres: vocal, orchestral; choral, etc. Extremely pleased with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Quality Little System Bought this system for the dining room,.so space, and to an extent price, were factors. For me, it's not cheap, but I would definitely say it's worth the money. Both the unit and the handset feel good quality. There's a slight delay from the handset to the unit, but once you're used to it it's not a problem. Sound wise, it's just great. I have it hooked it up to some Mordaunt Short M20 speakers and have to say it is not embarrassed by a more expensive system in the living room. The room it's in is very hard surfaced, ie laminate floor, painted walls, not even any curtains, so no soft furnishings, which means I don't want too heavy or bass-ey sound, or it just sounds boomy. The bass and treble allow me to get the sound just right. I listened to the previous incarnation of this Denon (the DM40 or 39} with the Denon speakers, and I don't know if it's the upgraded model or the speakers, but this sounds a whole lot better. There is plenty of detail, good bass when required, and the sound quality is maintained at higher levels. Setup is reasonably simple, but would be better if there was a hard copy of instructions rather than a disc. Don't find it as intuitive as my other system, but it's just what you get used to. There are lots of settings and tweaks, even a setting for it's own or other speakers. Also Direct, to produce a pure sound and Super Dynamic Base (I think!), which is quite effective, but personally I like to tailor the sound to my requirements. DAB and FM presets are stored all together, which confused me at first - I'm used to them being kind of separate. 40 presets so no problem there. Tuner is excellent, picking up FM from York to Derby {I'm somewhere in between}. I do have it hooked up to a good loft aerial though, which I think is essential for good quality FM reception. FM is as clear as a bell. DAB is also good, considering the quality limits of DAB at the moment (stations broadcasting in mono at less than 100 bytes?!). About the only thing I can think of to criticize is that when adjusting base and treble, it doesn't give a great deal of time before it goes back to normal operation. a small point really and far outweighed by the pluses. All in all, this, in my opinion is a great system, giving excellent hifi quality sound and punching well above it's weight, price wise. Match it to some good quality speakers and you can have a really good hifi system, with enough connections on the back to make it versatile and up to date.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great DAB system I bought this Denon DM41 to replace my old Denon HiFi system. After much researching I opted for this unit and have now installed it. I am delighted with the sound, looks and value for money that this system offers
