Epson EH-TW7000 (White)
4K Enhanced HDR 3LCD Projector
”Another triumph for Epson; this is the best entry-level 4K home cinema projector around.” ’What Hi-Fi?’ – 5 Star review.
Big screen entertainer
Whether you’re gaming, watching movies or the big sports event, nothing beats the thrill of a big screen. The EH-TW7000 offers an effortless 100” display in most rooms (at a distance from the wall of 2.95m), plus the ability to expand this five times, given a big enough space.
See more detail, with PRO-UHD 4K enhanced
PRO-UHD 4K enhanced takes native Full HD (1080p) resolution and uses sophisticated 4K Enhancement processing allows the EH-TW7000 to double its frame rate, creating crisp and clear images. Although not strictly a 4K projector, it gives it a much more detailed, denser image than an equivalent Full HD version. The EH-TW7000 also supports 4K streaming services from providers such as Netflix.
Lens shift and keystone correction
With lens shift and keystone correction, the Epson EHTW7000 is easy to install. The ability to physically move the lens by +/- 60% vertically and +/- 24 horizontally reduces picture distortion when mounting the projector in awkward positions. The vertical keystone correction offers a digital version of the same thing with a wide adjustment of +/- 30% in both vertical and horizon plains.
Epson's 3LCD technology for super-bright images
Thanks to 3LCD tech, this Epson offers an extremely high quality image. With an exceptional brightness figure of 3000 lumens, the EH-TW7000 is easily watchable in rooms with ambient light from windows and other sources. With its 40,000:1 contrast ratio, the Epson also offers inky deep blacks and precise detail within even the darkest scenes.
Optional 3D
Featuring active 3D, the EH-TW7000 takes your viewing experience to a new dimension. With 3D depth adjustment, it’s easy to get just the right effect in your room. Simply purchase the optional ELPGS03 active 3D glasses and you're good to go.
Bluetooth sound output
Getting big sound to match the big picture is easy with the EH-TW7000. Pair the Bluetooth output with a compatible soundbar, AV system or Bluetooth speaker and enjoy effective, wireless sound.
Twin HDMI and USB
The EHTW7000 is a flexible projector with a wide range of connections. There are two HDMI sockets – perfect for a Blu-ray player and games console. Alternatively, use one of the HDMI sockets for a video streamer. This can even be powered via the USB Mini-B power output. Standard USB sockets are also on hand for connecting your media devices and playing back stored photos or video.
Make movie, gaming or sports night a real thrill, with the Epson EH-TW7000.

Delivers a watchable big screen experience.
I’ll get straight to the point this projector lacks good blacks and clarity in low lit scenes often detail is lost in a milky grey filter, this is with settings tweaked and persevered with as to squeeze out every last drop of what is possible, this is all done in a completely blacked out cinema room for reference, this is my only real negative but when talking projectors it can be a deal breaker.
On to the positives, it’s easy to set up, it has plenty of options to get the image where you
want it, lenses shift both horizontal and vertical make it a breeze and if you want to delve deeper into perfecting the image there are further tools to do this.
The focus ring has plenty of resolution and is nice and smooth giving crisp edges.
Out of the box the picture needs some work just a few more presets would have been nice
but you can create your own and save via the memory so fiddle and tweak too your hearts content.
Viewing a movie is mostly a pleasure it delivers nice coloured scenes lacking slightly in depth at times but I can look over this as I can’t expect perfection at this price, this is still a budget projector after all, I’m sure when compared with others around the £1000 mark they excel in some areas but not all.
A big plus’s for me….no rainbow effect, I chose this projector after giving the Ben Q W1800 10 days use before returning it due to excessive rainbow effect making many films and content unwatchable, a pity as it’s 4K picture was outstanding ( very good blacks compared to the Epson) but it wasn’t so good with many Blue-Rays ( too much picture noise)
I would recommend this projector to anyone looking for a big screen at this price point if you are not too concerned regarding the less than impressive black levels as mentioned.
The user manual is available online so always worth a look before committing to a purchase.
This replaces my failing15 year old Panasonic PT-AX200E which was great in its day.
As always Richer Sounds flawless in all areas (replacement arrived next day) I wouldn’t even consider buying anywhere else…..I’m a R/S lifer. A Thankyou too the Preston staff :)
Overall I’m happy with my purchase hopefully it will give me many great movie nights to come until something excelling in all areas arrives on the scene….if ever at the budget end.

Great Service, Price, Competence and Convenience
I have just embarked on my first home Cimena setup. I travel a lot and popped into a number of branches. All the staff were helpful and polite with good advice. When I came to purchase a Price Match was accepted easily and the balance of the good were at the best available price. All in all a great experience

Brilliant product!
Delighted with this brilliant projector (3000 lumens). Very easy to set up, particularly given the vertical AND horizontal shifts. Slightly larger, and heavier than my previous projector, but good looking with softer lines.

Easy to use , picture quality great. Had to buy an additional sound transmitter to link it to my soundbar though. Next step is to put it on the ceiling! Very happy

Good quality with all the features I needed
I'm not technological, I barely know what a pixel is, so buying a projector that was right for the room, considering where I would put it and obstacles, e.g. ceiling lights etc, took some time and research. In the end this was the only one (in my price range) with a throw ratio and zoom that was suitable, as well as vertical and horizontal tilt. I'm happy it also had Bluetooth for my speakers which saves another cable. I didn't want any apps etc already in it and bought a Roku stick, so I have total freedom. It looks good, works well, and importantly for me is easy to use. It is probably a lot more than I need, but it's so adaptable I'll be able to use it in any future spaces so I'm glad I got it. I should say, I only want to watch film and TV, no idea about gaming. This is my first step up from a 22-inch TV and I really love it!

Excellent projector, very pleased!
I brought this projector having read lots of reviews and am very impressed indeed. It’s bright enough for a well lit room, and in the dark produces an excellent picture. It’s not as large as some people have made out, but is certainly larger than some of lower end projectors.

Just what was needed!
I am in the process of restoring an old building in Cornwall and wanted to include a projector and part of the entertainment set up. Although work in progress I have provisionally set it up to get all wiring ready for hiding.
Great projector … watched a few films and concerts and am impressed and so are friends.
Easy set up and control. There is nothing I can find that disappoints and wouldn’t hesitate to fully recommend. Delivery was within one day as promised!

Excellent piture in all conditions
Bought this a month ago as an upgrade on an old Espon projector - the difference is incredible, well worth the additional cost. Nice sharp picture, even in quite bright conditions.
