Fitted with FiiO’s innovative R2R resistor array DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter), a multi-stage audio amp and the brand’s own DAPS tech, the FiiO M33 R2R delivers extraordinary sound in its class. FiiO’s discrete DAC for enhanced sound
The M33 R2R features FiiO’s advanced resistor based 24-bit DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter). Rather than using a single microchip, the DAC circuit is made up of dozens of thin-film resistors, carefully configured within the highest tolerances. This unique configuration gives the M33 a more natural and organic sound that’s musical and engaging for long term listening.
Powerful headphone amplifier
Featuring Ti audio op-amps, the M33 R2R delivers powerful sound that’s able to drive a wide range of different headphones. When in balanced mode, the output reaches up to 1100mW x 2, which is enough for driving power-hungry headphones. With no fewer than four different gain modes, it’s easy to get the ideal setting to match your headphones.
Balanced headphone output
As well as delivering the power to drive your headphones, the M33 R2R also has the connectivity to match. For balanced headphones, the M33 R2R has a 4.4mm output. Using a balanced signal between the source and headphones reduces noise and interference and is especially handy on the move. A 3.5mm single-ended socket is also standard.
Desktop mode
More than just a top quality portable player, the FIIO M33 R2R also quickly adapts to your desktop system. At the flick of a switch, desktop mode (D.MODE) is activated. This disconnects the battery and switches the power supply to an external source.
Twin USB ports for power and signal
Working in conjunction with the Desktop mode, a dedicated USB-C socket accepts a pure power signal. When connected to a high current USB-C power source, Super High Gain Mode can be activated, and the player’s full power potential is obtained (up to 1100mW per channel). This makes it ideal for driving high impedance headphones.
Use as a USB DAC for your smartphone, computer or laptop
With its second USB-C connection and high quality R2R converters, the M33 R2R also makes a great standalone DAC for your smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. Much better than most internal DACs and PC soundcards, the M33 R2R offers a great boost to your smartphone and computer’s sound quality.

With Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 processor at its heart, the FIIO M33 R2R provides a seamless response. The powerful processor, with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM responds rapidly and easily handles power-hungry functions such as watching video or playing games. It also has an ultra-low power consumption, helping to extend the battery life.
Android based operating system
Featuring an Android 13 based operating system, controlling the M33 R2R is much like using an Android Smartphone. The immersive 5.5 inch, 1080p HD resolution touchscreen makes artwork and videos ‘pop’ with colour vibrancy.
Ultra-long battery, with fast charging
With its 4400mAh, high capacity battery, the FiiO M33 R2R delivers up to 15.5 hours playback (13.5 hours in balanced mode), giving a significant improvement over the M23 model. The M33 R2R also features low-temperature fast charging, which quickly charges the battery, without overheating. A full recharge can now be achieved in just 1.5 hours.
