Rooms allows individual control of the music being played in a particular room. You can see what music is playing where, from anywhere around your home. The Music tab selects the streaming music service or stored music on either your device or a remote device connected via the DLNA network. Now playing gives you artist, title and track timer information, plus it lets you control the master volume and also view the music queue.

Excellent Reproduction as if at live performances
For many years I have enjoyed listening to my music collection. It started in 1960 and now I have sufficient music to play for some 30 days!!! I have, however, not been in possession of decent playback equipment for many years, due to moving around the world with my work. Cheap earphones do not do justice to the music!
Now that I have retired I decided to get myself a stereo system which would enhance listening to my music collection (which includes over 140 LPs in almost perfect condition and numerous CDs) as far as my hearing was capable.
I tried several;shops, but finally chose Richer Sounds. I originally went into the shop to ask a few questions and note their response. Of all the shops which I had visited I was more than happy with Richer Sounds. They had excellent listening capabilities and ensured that I bought something which suited me and not what they wanted to sell. I listened to many combinations before making my decision.
My first purchase was an AudioLab 6001 and Dali Speakers. This I fed from my home network and enjoyed the music with good reproduction the first time for many years.
I was so pleased with this success that I decided I wanted to hear the music in two different rooms, but did not want to run cables any more to feed addition speakers. On a subsequent visit to Richer Sounds they introduced me to Denon Heos Link and Denon 150 speakers. This system has the capability to work in several rooms in the house.
After a couple of days setting it up, I found that the system would easily play my tunes library which was also available on my iPhone. Great, now I could listen to my music collection in two different rooms in excellent quality.
I can highly recommend Richer Sounds for providing expert advice whilst ensuring that one's needs are met. After some 50 years of poor quality listening, i can now thoroughly enjoy my music collection at home whenever, and wheresoever, i want.

HEOS LINK
I was looking for an inexpensive way to run Amazon Music HD. This works perfectly through the Denon HEOS app. There are plenty of inputs and outputs and I have it running through a separate DAC and it sounds excellent. I really wasn’t expecting this level of performance from such a small and relatively inexpensive piece of kit. Thanks

Good product but room for improvement in app
I bought the HS2 link as a means of playing Amazon HD through my amp at high Res as Amazon will only allow 320kbps to a Chromecast audio. The unit itself is great for my use. It is very well built as you'd expect from Denon and has a number of digital outputs which meant I could bypass the internal DAC and use the one in my amp. I can't comment on the sound quality of the internal DAC in the HS2 for analogue purposes as I don't use it for this purpose. What I can say, is it is the cheapest by half in its category and has expandable options across the house which could be very useful for some people. The app itself is very good but it does have drawbacks which made me drop a star. You can use Tidal and Amazon HD which is great as it allows high Res play back, when the app works it is great. This is where the issue starts.... The app has a tendancy to restart itself and try to find the HS2 again. This is an inconvenience rather than a deal breaker but since Tidal and Amazon are built into the app (you can't stream full Res from the main Tidal or Amazon music app) it means you lose your place if you're browsing. Tidal functionality seems better than Amazon functionality but I do believe Denon intend to upgrade the Amazon app to show 'my music' in the future which is a must IMO.
All in all though this is a great product for the price and I'd deffo recommend.

So good I bought a second one.
Bought one of these a few months ago as an open box clearance item and couldn't be happier with it. Sound quality is superb and I've found the App. easy to navigate and glitch free. So when I decided to add a streaming music system in my holiday house this was the obvious choice. Richer Sounds were about £100 cheaper than buying it out in Spain so a quick phone call was made to check stock in my local branch. They only had warehouse stock but offered to deliver it next day at no extra charge which was a win win for me.

Versatile and supports Amazon HD music
I bought this to stream music into my Qutest DAC as it also now supports Amazon HD music in full hires mode. It was pretty easy to set-up so I’ve now also mounted my personal music folder on my NAS as one of the sources.
The app works reasonably well and seems stable so far. I hope Denon also works on improving the Amazon HD functionality to make it easier to set up playlists and see what resolution the music is in. You can see the resolution once the track is playing.

Great hardware - dreadful app!
Bought this online in March '18. Initially worked OK, but more recently I've been experiencing problems with the HEOS app - which is the only way to operate the device - as it hardly ever recognises my NAS (my main music source). Frankly, I now regard this as money well wasted!

Excellent Heos
Bought a few weeks back with the home cinema soundbar. I am really inpressed with the Heos system and with the link box we have extended the wireless streaming music to the wired ceiling speakers.
