Standing at the top of Ortofon’s impressive 2M range, the 2M Black LVB 250 makes further advances over the regular model. Technically, the main difference is the use of a boron cantilever. Tipped with a Shibata diamond stylus, this combination is as used on the MC Cadenza Black and offers remarkable transparency, speed and timing precision. A wide contact area means deeper bass, more detail from the top end and less damage to your precious records.
Premium construction
Using a body made from Hopelex, the 2M Black LVB 250 is extremely rigid while also eliminating unwanted resonances. This reduces distortion, bringing detail to the fore and promotes a more natural sound. Attention to detail extends to split pole pins with silver-plated copper wire – for the most musical transition of sound.
