Great sound
Great staff and support.
Turntable sounds amazing. Will say I took one star off because the design of the lid is poor... Just sits on two metal posts and is very loose. Sure it will break one day.

Time For A Review Me Thinks
So, after living with the DC for the last six months I thought it was about time to put fingers to keys and let you know what I think…..
A little over six months into the pandemic I decided it was about time to get back into vinyl and I took the plunge by purchasing the delightful Primary E turntable from Richer’s Stockport branch (see my review for my thoughts on said piece of kit😉)
Four years on and the upgrading itch needed to be scratched and when I saw the DC advertised with a VIP discount (and having been researching it for a while as part of my upgrade plans) then it was a no brainer!!
To see I’m pleased with the DC is an understatement. Everything simply sounds so much better, with the turntable offering everything from greater detail in treble, bass, vocals, instrumental separation…
I could go on but rather than I’d say that if you’re thinking of upgrading and this is your budget then the DC is worthy of some serious consideration.
A word as always for the Stockport store who once again afforded me such wonderful customer service, and it won’t be long before I’ll be walking through the doors to upgrade my cartridge to the much recommended Ortofon 2M Blue (come on Julian it’s begging for a VIP reduction).

Richer Sounds had an offer I couldn't refuse, and this turntable has been waiting in its box for a few months for me to set up a desk to digitise some LPs. Well, I finally got there. First impressions: so thoughtfully and securely packaged by Project, and consequently very easy to set up, especially with a choice of several YouTube videos available. The turntable is compact, handsome, and sounds great. Also it can be upgraded down the line with new components from Project, for example an acrylic platter.

Bought yesterday and I am delighted with my Purchase. I was going to purchase the Project Debut but it was going to have to be delivered because it was not in stock
I was being served by john at the Glasgow branch and he advised me he had a Project Debut Carbon DC in his storeroom and it was his last one. Now usually that would make me slightly sceptical but he had such a pleasant genuine manner . It was double the price but I felt confident in his knowledge and judgement. Best decision I have made in a long time. Excellent sound and easy set up. Needs a pre amp but that eliminates any other sound. problems Very happy with Price for an excellent product that is punching above its weight.
