The HDR175 headphones feature 2 AAA rechargeable batteries and a smart docking cradle that charges them without the need for a separate charger. There's a multi-country charger to ensure you've always got music with you on your travels. Set-up is easy, with no programming or ‘handshake’ required. I have purchased things from Richer Sounds in the past and have been very satisfied with the products and service. However last week I decided to purchase a decent sound bar for the TV. Went all the way into Bournemouth on the Wednesday, and found the store closed and shuttered. Also shut Thursday. Luckily, John Lewis is just down the road..

Foam pads, disintegrating.
I have had a pair of these for over 4 years.The sound quality is exeptional. However. I am disgusted with Sennheiser for the awful quality of the pads. The material disintegrates FAR too easily for a product of such reverence. There are many other makes out there, who provide much better quality to these items, which are as important as the audio, comfort is a major issue here. Guys, you can do so much better. Therefore, I can only award two stars. Oh and the replacements are too overpriced !

Clear sound quality
Bought these rather than a soundbar for my wife to listen to TV - recommendation of store staff. Easy to install. Good sound quality with the added bonus that I can sit in the same room as the TV and not be bothered with the noise!

Quality performance at an affordable price.
These headphones are excellent. The noise cancelling works well, the sound is very good and the bass and wide sound features are very effective. The phones are very comfortable. I would recommend them.
