Designed in collaboration with Arcam’s co-founder, John Dawson, the Arcam A50 Signature embodies all that’s made the brand such a big hit, brought right up to date. It uses the latest dual-mono development of Arcam’s revered Class G amp tech for immersive sound that combines precision with power. A true allrounder, the A50 Signature connects to everything from a turntable (with MM or MC cartridge) to your PC and TV.
The first Arcam amp with dual-mono Class G tech for stunning clarity
Arcam’s Class G amp tech is famous for combining the best in analogue and digital operation. Smooth and fluid, yet with huge reserves of power, Class G amps excel with all types of music. For the first time with an Arcam amp, the A50 Signature features dual-mono amps. This configuration means that left and right channels are independently processed, enhancing the stereo imaging and sonic precision. Musicians have more space around them, making it easier to pick out a particular performer.

Although subtle and delicate when the music dictates it, the A50 Signature has effortless power to let rip when needed. With 150 watts per channel, there’s more than enough grunt to drive inefficient speakers, even in larger spaces.

Advanced Bluetooth connectivity
Extending wireless Bluetooth connectivity to its limits, the A50 Signature features Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound and Auracast compatibility. This means that you can stream lossless audio, wirelessly via Bluetooth from your compatible smartphone, tablet or computer. Auracast facilitates wireless connectivity with compatible headphones and speakers.
Hi-Res sound via USB-C input
For the highest quality link with your digital music, the A50 Signature features a USB-C input. Connect laptop, PC or Mac and enjoy Hi-Res music streaming to the highest quality standards. Making full use of the upgraded ESS DAC, the A50 Signature’s USB-C input supports DSD (Direct Stream Digital) files up to 256 and PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz.
Connect your TV via HDMI with eARC
Featuring an HDMI socket with eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel), the A50 Signature also gets the best from your TV’s sound. Connect your TV to this amp and you’ll have no need for a separate soundbar.
Analogue - enhanced
For studio ‘pro quality’ connectivity, the A50 Signature features balanced XLR inputs. Use these with a compatible CD, such as the Arcam CD25, or other music source and enjoy the lowest possible distortion from an analogue connection. Making this ideal for vinyl, the amp also comes with a top quality phonostage. This is designed to the highest standards, giving you the best sound from your turntable. For wide-ranging cartridge compatibility, the A50 Signature is suitable for use with both MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) cartridges.
