For a huge upgrade in sound quality, simply connect the Arcam PA240 to your amp’s pre-output. With a choice of balanced XLR or RCA phono, the PA240 pairs with a vast range of pre-amps and integrated amplifiers.
Build the ultimate AV system
For the ultimate in AV, you can add one or a number of Arcam PA240s to the AVR40 or AVR41 AV processor units. Use this as the main power amp for the front left and right speakers, with other Arcam multi-channel power amps, or add a series of PA240 amps to create the ultimate surround sound amplification.

Packing a mighty 225 watts per channel there’s power enough for every eventuality. From the largest rooms to the least efficient speakers, the PA240 always has the power to impress. As well as high volume, the power also gives action movies and stadium concerts the dynamics they deserve – making you feel more like you’re ‘there’, at the concert itself. Want even more power? Then you can have it! Switch the PA240 to bridged mode (mono) and it produces an almighty 790 watts – enough to power a small nightclub should you wish.

These not only lock firmly in place but also help resist electrical interference, especially when used over longer distances. A wide range of sockets make this power amp ideal for professional installations. RS232 control, along with 12V in/out triggers make it easy to integrate with the most sophisticated systems.
