At the heart of the AVID INTEGRA is a mighty 750VA toroidal mains transformer and 88,000uF output capacitors. What this means to the sound is an effortless surge of powerful, dynamic music. No matter how intense the music becomes, the INTEGRA always has the power on tap to keep up the momentum. Whatever the volume level, the amp has the power to push the music from your speakers, in a broad soundstage. This gives you an enveloping sound that lesser amps simply can’t match.
Ultra-low distortion for audio purity
Using the highest quality components, the INTEGRA reveals every subtle nuance of your recording’s detail. The ALPS silky-smooth volume control offers very little signal resistance and the input switching works via remote reed switching, again reducing signal resistance. The upshot of this attention to detail is a high level of purity and detail.
Top quality phonostage built-in
THE INTEGRA makes an excellent choice for vinyl fans. Featuring AVID’s Pellar phonostage built-in, the INTEGRA already has a high-end vinyl input that’s worthy of a serious system. The phonostage is adjustable to suit your cartridge. To select the correct setting for your specific cartridge, simply select between MM, MC High and MC Low at the rear of the amp. For MC cartridges, you can make further tweaks to the resistance via loading plugs (loading plugs specific to your cartridge available at additional cost).
