Tri-coaxial speaker system for seamless sound
Featuring three drivers that share a common axis, the Cabasse The Pearl Akoya has a seamless sound. First developed by Cabasse in 1950s, the coaxial tweeter and mid-range unit produce highly focused sound that’s also free from the usual ‘sweet-spot’, for smooth and lifelike audio. Facing rearwards but sharing the same axis, the woofer unit powers through the deepest soundtracks with ease, with its high excursion driver delving deep into the bass line without sounding ponderous.
Streaming services and Internet Radio
Once connected to the Internet, the app controlled speakers give you easy access to a whole host of music streaming services and Internet radio. Compatible with Spotify, TIDAL, Napster, Qobuz, Deezer and more, the app lets you access a near-limitless stream of music. The app also makes it easy to access your favourite Internet Radio stations and podcasts via Web Radio.
Stream via AirPlay 2 or Bluetooth
As well as streaming via Cabasse’s app, you can also choose Apple’s AirPlay. Ideal if you already have an Apple ecosystem, AirPlay lets you wirelessly connect your Apple devices for effortless music streaming and multiroom potential. For a quick and easy wireless connection with your smartphone, tablet or laptop, there’s also Bluetooth connectivity to hand.

As well as offering the dynamic range to make the most of Hi-Res music, the Pearl Akoya speaker supports the formats to match. This includes FLAC and ALAC file support up to 24 bit/192kHz and DSD128.
Multiroom compatible
As well as accessing your music services, the StreamControl Cabasse app also facilitates multiroom playback. With compatible Cabasse speakers around your home, you can play the same music in each room simultaneously, or different music. For the best in sound quality, the system is compatible with Hi-Res audio files and has HD streaming technology that transmits at just 80 microseconds, for minimal lag around your speaker system.
Bluetooth remote and voice control
The Cabasse Pearl Akoya comes supplied with a stylish Bluetooth remote control. The ergonomic design features a rotating volume control and user-friendly buttons for the main functions, such as play/pause, input type and list selection. For voice control, the speaker also works with Hey Google.
Connect other sources
Plug in your music source via the 3.5mm mini-jack AUX input. For sources with an optical digital output, such as a TV, games console or CD player, there’s also an optical digital input. A USB input lets you connect media devices and also provides USB charge to a smartphone or other devices.
