The original and 2X Leyline cables have long been a popular choice for multiroom and home cinema installations. With the Leyline2XL, Chord Company has taken the standard cable and increased the gauge for less resistance and improved bass. Although slightly thicker, it’s still easy to route and it’s still a durable and high quality choice.

The Leyline2XL speaker cable uses a high performance XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) dielectric. XLPE outperforms other materials in Chord’s listening tests and offers superior insulation for reduced interference – giving a smoother, more natural sound with enhanced detail.
Fit and forget
Designed for use in home cinema applications and multiroom systems, where cables are often hidden away, the Leyline2XL uses tin-plated Oxygen Free Copper for low corrosion and low loss over long lengths. The twisted geometry also helps the cable in maintaining the signal over longer lengths.
Meets the standards
Flexible and neutral in colour, this 14/2 gauge cable looks unobtrusive and is easy to route. The LS0H (Low Smoke, Zero Halogen) jacket makes this a high compliance cable – ideal for installations. It meets EN50575 DCA-S2, D2, and A1 CPR ratings.
