With its increased capacity, the Oberon 3 delivers a deeper, richer sound than the smaller Oberon 1. Combined with the improved efficiency, it gives the Oberon 3 the ability to go louder and lower than the smaller speaker and makes it well suited to medium-sized rooms. At the heart of the Oberon 3 drivers you'll find an SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) disc magnet system. This highly specialised feature is designed to provide the most accurate speaker control and ultra-low levels of distortion. Featuring low-loss, wood fibre woofers that are based on DALI's reference grade speakers and a brand new, ultra-light tweeter, the Oberon 3 delivers a sound that’s closer than ever to the original.
Designed for your home, not a studio
Finished in a choice of Black Ash, Light Oak, Dark Walnut and White, the Oberon speakers suit a wide range of decors and not just a studio. They are also easy to get the best sound from. Unlike other speakers, they don’t need to be toed-in or pulled a long distance away from the wall behind. They also give a broad range of sound, meaning every seat in the room is a premium seat.

Wide sound stage
Nice punchy sound. Vocals are clear. Heard this as well as Oberon1. This easily won the battle.

Dali Oberon 3 Speakers
Initially the Dali Oberon 3 speakers were not on my shortlist. But at a listening demo recommendation by Mak at Southgate that I should consider them and at least listen to them was a revelation.
I immediately liked these speakers a lot (especially in white as they fit with my room decor). First thing that sold me was the Oberon 3’s huge soundstage and spacious, articulate, enthusiastic voice. I listen to classical as well as blues, folk, rock and world music, so have a very catholic musical taste. On really good, heavy stands with the detachable grills on the Oberon 3s cope with everything thrown at them; they have a good focus without being aggressive. Overall the treble is fast and well-integrated and neutral and not spiky-bright, the mid-range is quick, articulate with a lovely, true, natural tone; for such small speakers the bass is fulsome and weighty more than most other speakers of their size without being bloated and ill-defined.
Build quality for sub-£500 speakers is excellent. Great speakers that I would not have considered without Mak’s invaluable knowledge and suggestion. Marvellous service as always from Richer Sounds. Thank you, Mak!

Very good sound, decent price
I bought these speakers 10 days ago. I was quite reluctant about choosing bookshelf speakers, being afraid that the system will lack low sounds. I paired these speakers to Yamaha Rn602. The sound is far far way better sound than my previous bose system. Good solid bass, good sound stage, clear sound. Coming from bose I'm surprised by the amount of mid sounds, voice. Also they blend in the room perfectly, not strident.
