The Emotiva XPA-DR3 uses audiophile quality, Differential Reference amplifiers for the critical front three channels of your home cinema system.
The DR difference
Using advanced input circuitry, the DR version of the XPA-3 amplifier is a cut above. Producing an incredibly accurate and pure sound, the XPA-DR3 lets you hear every breath of the action. With incredibly quiet background levels, even the most subtle details emerge with stunning resolution. Distortion is vanishingly low, even when using the amp’s considerable power.
Mighty power
With a mighty 450 watts per channel (600 watts into 4 ohms), power is never an issue with the XPS-DR3. Using a regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), this amp blends traditional Class A/B and Class H technologies for the perfect blend of quality and power.

With three channels, this Emotiva amp is perfect for getting the best possible sound from the most important channels in your home cinema system. Use it to drive the Left/Centre/Right channels of your 3.1, 5.1 or larger home cinema system – giving these critical channels the power and quality they need for convincing home cinema sound.
Modular construction for upgrade potential
Modular construction means the XPA-DR power amps can be configured from 2 to 14 channels. This not only helps reduce the cost but also lets you upgrade the power amp in the future. Return the amp to Emotiva’s US base and have additional channels installed, without having to change your amp.
Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono inputs for system flexibility
For maximum system flexibility, the XPA-DR3 comes with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono inputs. For best results, match with an Emotiva processor and use the balanced XLR connections for strong synergy and high levels of resistance to electrical interference. RCA phono inputs and a well-balanced sound, also make this power amp ideal for use with other brands of AV processors.
