If you’ve been looking for a speaker that offers great sound but that can also be used outside, then you need look no further than the Escape P9. Designed specifically for outdoor use, the P9 is portable and weatherproof. Thanks to its twin 24-bit processors and unique speaker array, it also excels in environments where many speakers fall flat.

With 100 watts and a built-in subwoofer, the P9 has the power and bass to really get the party going. Unlike many, tinny-sounding outdoor speakers, the P9 has the volume and bass depth to create a party vibe at your BBQ or camp.

Speakers perform very differently outside, which is why the P9 has a unique speaker array that you wouldn’t find on a regular, indoor speaker. Because outdoor speakers need to fill a wider space, the P9 uses four separate speakers, placed all around the cabinet. This means that, wherever the speaker is placed, everyone gets to hear the same clear and powerful sound. Twin 24-bit digital processors keep the sound smooth and cohesive, giving the optimal tone and bass response.

From the built-in carry handle to the rechargeable battery, every element of the P9’s design suits its intended use. With 16 hours playback at background levels or up to 8 hours at higher volumes, the battery has the stamina to cope with those guests that just won’t go home! Using a powder coated aluminium handle, polyester grille and touch sensitive controls, the P9 is well able to stand up to sunshine and showers.
Multiple inputs
For convenience, the P9 connects to your smartphone, tablet or laptop via Bluetooth. From here, it’s simply a case of accessing your favourite streaming service, such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or TIDAL. For added input flexibility, the P9 also has a USB interface and 3.5mm analogue input. Simply lift the keyboard and plug-in your USB stick or other music device via the 3.5mm AUX input.
App control
Available for Apple iOS and Android, the free Escape Remote app unlocks an added layer of functionality. Set the sound mode to suit indoors or out and tune the sound to perfection, with the 5-band equalizer. You can check on the battery level, too. If you’ve got more than one Escape speaker, the app lets you effortlessly switch between them.
