Renowned for their top-end detail and exceptional articulation, MartinLogan soar above ordinary speakers. Using folded, thin-film material, the Gen2 FMT 2 tweeters have a large surface area, light weight and low excursion. This means that you get a nuanced and incredibly lifelike treble response, with sumptuous detail. For a smooth and consistent response, across a wider seating area, Folded Motion Waveguides direct the sound with precision.

Featuring trickle down technology from MartinLogan’s Motion speakers, the F2 uses an aluminium, unibody cone. Mounted in a non-resonant, sealed chamber it ensures smooth and articulate vocals, with breathtaking detail.
Supremely powerful and controlled bass
For serious bass depth, the Foundation F2 uses a triple woofer array. The combined effect of using three woofers means that the bass drops to a mid-sized subwoofer-rivalling level, powerfully underscoring music or movie soundtracks. For the best room integration, the woofers are placed as low in the cabinet as possible. Like the midrange driver, the woofers feature aluminium, unibody construction for a focused and fast-paced response.
