The perfect all-rounder
The Mission LX-5 MKII is the middle of the LX MKII floorstander range and makes the ideal all-rounder for many. Larger than the LX-4 MKII, it’s powerful sound suits larger rooms and has the dynamics needed for edge-of-seat action movies and stadium music alike. It’s also small and slim enough not to dominate your room.
Room-shaking bass
Standing around 1 metre tall and using twin, 165mm woofers to great effect, this is where room-shaking bass begins. Twin rear bass ports help reinforce the bass efficiency, meaning that you get a rich, well-balanced sound, even at lower volumes.
Accurate sound
There's much more to the Mission LX-5 MKIIs than sheer power alone. The speakers use Mission's traditional 'D'Appolito' configuration for time-aligned sound. What this means is a more focused, precise sound that snaps vocals into sharp relief. Used with a decent quality recording and source it can truly sound like the vocalists are 'there' in the room with you.
Advanced technology
Using technology developed from Mission’s more expensive ZX and QX models, the LX MKII range benefits from these enhancements. Using serrations around the drivers, helps scatter adverse reflections, meaning you get a purer, more lifelike sound quality.
Smooth design – available in three different finishes
Available in a choice of Walnut Pearl, Lux Black or Lux White, there’s a finish to suit all decors. The rounded front baffle is free from any grille or speaker fittings, making it look clean and easy on the eye. For an even more discreet look, simply attach the supplied grilles.
