Boasting an outstanding brightness figure of 5000 ANSI Lumens, the 4K550 not only offers bright and vivid colours but is also able to be used in many lighting conditions. Even during daylight conditions with curtains or blinds open, the Optoma produces a bright and detailed picture – thanks to its sensational brightness.
HDR10 and HLG for enhanced detail
Compatible with HDR10 and HLG formats, the 4K550 gets the best from your movies, games and TV. HDR enhances the brightest and darkest sections of scenes – letting you see detail in what was previously a solid block of colour. It also makes the rest of the colour spectrum appear more natural, giving an even greater sense of ‘being there’.
Native UHD 4K resolution for the ultimate resolution
Making the most of HDR compatibility is UHD 4K resolution. Projecting in this resolution gives detail and realism that's impossible to achieve with conventional Full HD resolution. UHD 4K resolution is four times greater than the more conventional 1920 x 1080 Full HD projectors and it's a difference you can easily see on a large projection screen. Eye-popping detail and the sharpest definition make this the perfect projector for UHD 4K viewing.
Lens Shift for ease of installation
Being able to 'shift' the lens vertically (+10 degrees) makes installations much easier. Lens shift gives you the perfect image, even after installation, without having to sacrifice image quality. In addition, 1.6x zoom lets you size the image to your exact requirements.
A wide range of connections, including two HDMI socket
Featuring twin HDMI sockets, you can connect a UHD Blu-ray player and other source. For older sources, the 4K550 also comes with a VGA input – perfect for laptops and PCs. Multi-room connectivity is enhanced by RJ-45 and RS232 interfaces, plus there’s a 12v output for syncing with an electric screen. Audio can be outputted via digital optical or analogue 3.5mm sockets.
USB power – plug in Smart TV
Thanks to the built-in USB power outlet you can power your source device. Ideal for powering Smart TV dongles, such as the Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Roku or NOW TV, the 4K550 makes adding Smart TV cheap and easy.
