Simple, CD transport
The Primare DD15 is a CD transport, pure and simple. This means that there’s no built-in DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor), letting you choose your own DAC, or use the player with a digital amplifier. Ideally matched to the Primare I15 Prisma amp or SC15 Prisma pre-amp, buying the DD15 saves you from buying the DAC section twice.
High quality CD transport section
At the heart of this Primare CD transport is a high quality Philips, slot loading mechanism. When combined with the low noise digital output, you get a precise, low jitter digital signal that’s high on resolution and low on jitter.
High levels of connectivity
The Primare DD15 has a carefully chosen selection of connections – making it ideal for multi-room systems. For system control there’s a 12v trigger socket, RS232 and IR in/outputs. Optical and coaxial digital outputs for connection to your digital amp or DAC are both standard.
