Product Information
Tight for space or just want to watch your picture discs turn in all their glory? Then check out the vertically spinning Project VTE-r.
Off the wall design
Most turntables look a little flat, but not the Pro-Ject VTE-r! Unlike other decks, the VTE-r plays records vertically. This not only lets you watch your favourite picture discs take a spin but also makes the deck easy to place. With a depth of just 112mm, it's far easier to place a VTE-r on shelves, desks and other furniture than traditional decks. Even though the design is 'off the wall', the VTE-r is actually quite happy to be wall-mounted - just order the optional wall bracket.
Engineered for superior sound
Despite its funky style, the Pro-Ject VTE-r has the same basic engineering values as their more expensive designs. For the base and platter, Pro-Ject uses high density MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard). This gives increased mass and better damping properties, both of which are ideal for providing lower distortion. A further advantage of the high mass platter is that it provides a more consistent speed, helping both pitch and timing consistency.
Plug 'n' play
Although it offers genuine hi-fi sound, the VTE-r has been designed to be as unintimidating as possible. From unboxing, all that's needed is for the platter to be slipped on, the belt attached, the stylus guard removed, the record clamped on and you're good to play. Both cartridge and counter weight are already fixed so there's no need for complex adjustments.
Let your records take a stand, with the Project VTE-r.
