A step-up in sound
Built for sound above all else, the Project T1 features levels of engineering excellence that you might not expect at this price. With a specification that includes a CNC machined plinth with isolation feet, a glass platter, one-piece tonearm and a quality Ortofon cartridge, the T1 is made to class-leading standards. Add in the Bluetooth output and it becomes an unbeatable package.
Bluetooth output
With its standard Bluetooth output, the T1 BT opens up a whole range of new connection possibilities. Perfect for connecting to a Bluetooth speaker or a Bluetooth enabled hi-fi system, the wireless connection lets you place the turntable much further away from the system than would otherwise be possible. Plus, it’s clutter-free!
Built-in phonostage
Another advantage with the BT version of the T1 turntable is a built-in phonostage (also known as a phono pre-amp). This means you can wire the deck up to any hi-fi system with an ‘AUX’ input. Alternatively, the T1 BT can still be wired into a phono input, just as with the standard T1.
Engineered for sound
Unlike many other turntables around this price, the Pro-Ject T1 BT has all the elements of a proper hi-fi turntable - just at a lower price. Rather than plastic, the CNC machined plinth is made from MDF. This gives lower resonance for reduced distortion. Mounted to the plinth is a steel/brass bearing that’s the same as the award-winning Essential III and, combined with the new heavy glass platter, provides smooth and stable running for perfect pitch.
Single piece aluminium tonearm
Continuing its hi-fi credentials, the Pro-Ject Essential III is supplied with a good quality tonearm. Made from a single piece of aluminium, it's both light and rigid. The more rigid the more precisely it tracks, making listening to your records a more involving experience. For ease of use the tracking forces are preset and ready to go.
Ortofon OM5E cartridge supplied
Part of the standard package includes a pre-fitted Ortofon OM5E cartridge. Highly regarded, this quality budget cartridge gives a smooth, detailed sound that’s at home with all types of music. As part of the Optimum Match (OM) range, the stylus is upgradable to 10, 20, 30 and 40 models, giving plenty of scope for future upgrading.
Choice of finishes
The simple, elegant styling gives the T1 BT a sleek appearance. Available in black, white or walnut, there’s a colour to suit you. All models come with a removable dust lid.

Beautiful turntable
Great piece of equipment especially with built in pre-amp and Bluetooth. However it’s a shame the Bluetooth doesn’t connect to my Sennheiser Ambeo soundbar Which was the main reason for the purchase, I have now connected it via a Bluetooth transmitter which now works with the Ambeo.
I will click yes to recommend, but do you homework on what you are Bluetoothing it to

Great sound, lovely deck, but....
It looks beautiful. Relatively easy to set up and sounds good on a perfectly flat LP. As soon as it's on an even slighly wavy disc, the cartridge scrapes the vinyl....there is no guidance either with the product or online to suggest how to change the counterweight which appears immovable. Oh for a user's manual!

Quality product
I bought the Project T1 after quite a bit of research and in this price bracket It seemed to be good value. It gives an excellent sound, feels like a quality build and was very easy to set up. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good turntable.
