Massive power – 600 watts per channel
Using an ICE Edge, Class-D based power amplifier, the PS Audio Stellar M1200 mono block amps have power to spare. With no less than 600 watts per channel, or an astonishing 1200 watts per channel into a 4 ohm speaker load, these amps handle all types of music with ease. Whether it’s a stadium rock event, intense club theme or full orchestra, the M1200s are never out of their comfort zone. Effortless dynamics and deep, powerful bass are second nature to the M1200s.
Valve input stage for smooth, rich sound
Making the perfect partner for the ICE power amp output, the valve-based input ensures the signal arrives at the amp in the best state possible. The zero feedback, Class A valve input stage uses a hand-selected 12AU7 valve, fed via its own analogue power supply. The result is smooth, rich sound that’s typical of the best valve-based equipment.
Monoblocks for the most immersive sound
Monoblock power amplifiers split the right and left stereo channels between two, individual amps. Using two boxes rather than one gives a wide range of advantages. With each channel having its own power supply and casing, there’s far less interference between left and right channels. Reduced interference between channels means a more detailed soundstage and a more expansive sound. The PS Audio Stellar M1200 mono block amps simply immerse you in music.
Balanced inputs
For the highest quality connection with a compatible pre-amp, the Stellar M1200 has XLR balanced inputs. Balanced inputs help resist interference, giving you a smoother, less distorted sound quality. For non-balanced pre-amps, RCA phono connections are also standard.
