Roksan Blak CD a stunning player
I am very pleased I made the choice to upgrade to the Roksan Blak CD player. it took some rumination but I am so pleased I did. My sizeable CD collection looked doomed to gather dust as I played my streamer over the last few months since purchase. Acquiring the Blak CD player has fired up my interest in the medium and some. I have heard and continue to hear many aspects of recordings the my old Arcam player did not surface. Coupled with the superb Roksan Blak amplifier through B&W 603 S2 anniversary speakers the sound is very listenable to. A good price too for the CD player courtesy the last clearance sale! Thanks again RS.

had for a week can't stop listening wide range of music hooked to roksan black amp wharfdale evo4.4teac double cassette audio technical lp40 chord clearway X aray picks out detail deliver s very well (if CD has slight mark it skips not CD players fault ) I am very happy with sound &it like the amp is very well made yes it is money well spent I recommend

I have bass !
I bought the Roksan K3 CD player to replace my Pioneer UDP 800 which had given up the ghost.
See review under that heading.
Unfortunately the K3 kept skipping on numerous discs and would even jump when you walked past it
even though isolated.
Richer Sounds offered to exchange it with no quibble. However as the player was not up to the same sound quality
as the UDP 800 I asked if I could pay the difference and upgrade to the Blak,
again excellent service and the swap was done.
Wow what a difference ! Masses of bass and mid that just wasn't there on the other 2 players. This is by far
the best playerI have had and it even surpasses my £2K turntable set up.
I recommend this player and also the excellent service provided by Richer Sounds at Preston.
All I can say is wow, what a difference ! I didn't realise how both the UDP and K3 lacked bass until the Blak was up and running. Ive only been running it in for a couple of days but this is by far the best my system has sounded. I have played discs that sounded bright with the K3 but the Blak plays them how they should sound. The best compliment I can give is that it sounds better than my vinyl set up which is £2 worth. Highly recomend this player. the only downside is very basic display which cant be turned off. Small price to pay. Very happy

I bought this a while ago to replace my Arcam player. My disappointment with it is that it skips easily over slightly marked discs whereas my one Arcam and two Dennon players do not. It has been back twice to Roksan under warranty but they give no explanation as to why their unit skips and my other three players do not. I guess the Roksan is just too sensitive and for this reason I would not recommend it.

Excellent CD player
We bought this to go with the amp we have a huge range of CD,s from heavy metal to classical sound quality is superb no mater what you play. It has made even the old CD,s come to life heard things never heard before complements the Roksan Blak amp perfectly so pleased with our choice not a cheep system but if you love music worth every penny
