With its built-in phono pre-amp, any turntable with an MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge can be plugged in – no separate box required. Although it works well with all turntables, the Sony STR-DH190 was developed with Sony’s PS-HX500 and PS-LX300USB. This means that when you pair either of these two decks with the receiver you can guarantee you’re getting the optimal sound quality.
Bluetooth connection for music streaming
When you’re not spinning discs, this flexible Sony is just as happy streaming music from your smartphone or tablet. Simply connect via Bluetooth and enjoy your stored music and favourite streaming services such as Spotify and Deezer. A neat extra function is the ability to power the receiver on from your smartphone, too.
High quality, powerful sound
Using a discreet amplifier, with separate components, gives the Sony a pure and detailed sound. With a large capacity transformer, there’s also power to match the purity – no less than a punchy 100 watts per channel.
