Aim the sound precisely where you need it
What marks these in-wall speakers out is their huge range of adjustability. Featuring a pivot-able Sound Baffle, you can pivot the entire speaker array – either to the left and right or up and down, depending on mounting position. In addition to this, the tweeter module is also pivot-able, giving super-precise levels of directionality.
Multi-tweeter array for enhanced clarity
Rather than using just one tweeter, the AIM2LCR55 incorporates three. Three tweeter units build up the intensity of high frequencies for a clearer, crisper sound.
The power of Kevlar and aluminium
With upgraded Kevlar woofers and aluminium tweeters, the SpeakerCraft AIM2LCR55 has a higher power rating than the junior LCR52 model. Power handling is up from 135 to 190 watts, making them much better suited to high-end AV receivers.
Deeper bass and brighter detail
Another benefit from the premium drivers is the enhanced frequency response. The Kevlar cones go deeper, giving you a richer, deeper sound. At the other end of the frequency range, aluminium tweeters raise the response for a more detailed and less harmonically compromised top end. The end result is a sound that’s even close to the real thing.
Adjustable treble and dialogue
Depending on your room’s acoustics and personal taste, you can boost or reduce the treble response and tune the dialogue. This is especially usefully in heavily furnished rooms where high level detail and dialogue can sometimes sound ‘lost’.
