Quartet – the ideal speaker for medium-sized to larger rooms
This medium-sized floorstanding speaker is ideal for medium-sized to larger rooms. Not so big that it dominates the room but large enough to produce room-filling presence, the Genese Quartet strikes an ideal balance. The 3-way design features a dedicated mid-range section, meaning you get to hear vocals at their clearest and most natural.
Pod-mounted tweeter for spacious top-end
Triangle have used pod-mounted tweeters since 1981. Although it costs more to manufacture, the benefits of pod mounting the tweeters are clear to hear. With the tweeter effectively isolated from the rest of the speaker, it can project sound across a wider stage with less diffraction. This means you get a wider, more spacious sound that’s brimming with detail.
Dedicated mid-range unit for crystal-clear vocals
As true 3-way speakers, the Genese Quartet features dedicated mid-range units. With their special, short-throw, surrounds this means they can focus on providing the most natural mid-range, without having the compromise of producing bass notes, too. Dedicated mid-range units bring vocals to life, letting you hear every breath from your favourite singers.
Twin-vent for a natural response
Featuring a twin-vent system, the bass driver above and below the port effectively have their own dedicated sub enclosure. This means you get a smooth, even bass response that’s tuned to minimise the effects of bass distortion.
SPEC technology for vibration reduction
A thick, steel plinth at the speakers’ base keeps the speakers firmly weighted down. SPEC (Single Point Energy Conductor) technology is a spike system that effectively channels energy and ‘grounds’ the sound, channelling the vibration away from the speaker. The speakers can also be fitted with your choice of rubber feet or spikes.
Sleek style enhanced by magnetic grilles
The tapered cabinet is available in luxurious gloss black or white finishes. The speaker grilles attach magnetically, letting you show off the speakers, without unsightly grille sockets visible.

The sound I wanted to achieve...
After several false starts in the auditioning process, I finally settled on these Triangle Quartets. My existing Infinity speakers was always going to be a difficult act to follow. Upgrading any kit is always a matter of concern, particularly Loudspeakers where it is easy to make "mistakes" in choosing the wrong ones. I wanted to be completely certain that I would avoid the usual pitfall where upgrading could just turn into a change of sound, and not actually an improvement. With these Quartets, I really felt that I have achieved the result I was hoping for. Complicit in that process was Josh at the Exeter branch, who was so incredibly patient and keen to make sure that I achieved the desired end result that I owe him a huge debt of gratitude. He wasn't at all pushy, but made recommendations which he felt suited my needs and of course my budget. As always, thank you also to Richer Sounds where spending money is always a pleasure.

Stunning for the money
For the money an extremely accomplished sound is achievable . Clean, responsive no bass lag You could easily pay more for a pair of focals. Testing needs to be done in an audio room . Making sure they have been run in
