Turn your Echo 2G into an amp
You get so much more from your Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Generation) with the Vail Amp. Simply place in this doc, plug in and you get all the usual Dot functionality with a whole lot more power. Ideal for voice-controlled music streaming and connecting up another source, such as your TV, the Vail Amp makes a good product great. The Vail Amp also provides a subwoofer output for powerful bass.
Connect up to two sets of speakers
Featuring a punchy 2 x 30 watt amplifier, you can connect up to two pairs of speakers. With 8/4 ohm switching, choose between one pair of 4 – 8 ohm speakers or two pairs of 8 ohm speakers. You can use any speaker of a reasonable efficiency, with wall and ceiling mounted speakers being ideal.
Line in and sub out via wall plate
Also supplied with the amp is a wall plate connection. This connects to the Vail Amp via Cat5 and power cable and provides a handy power supply input, as well as line in and sub out connections. Place it out of sight, such as in a cupboard or behind a cabinet and you’ve a very neat connection hub. The line level input is ideal for connecting to your TV or hi-fi while the sub output is perfect for your choice of active subwoofer.

Supplied with a snap-on, paintable trim cover, the Vail Amp provides a professional solution to mounting your Echo Dot in the wall.
