Featuring separate tracking dial and balance weight, the AVID TA-3 lets you get the perfect setting for your cartridge of choice. The cartridge mount is part of the armtube extrusion, further improving the tonearm’s over all rigidity.

The AVID TA-3 tonearm follows the engineering principles applied to its turntables, promoting a smooth and consistent sound throughout. Like AVID turntable chassis’, the TA-3 tonearm is constructed from aluminium giving excellent rigidity and vibration absorption properties.

Upgraded from the TA-1 model, the TA-3 uses hand-picked bearings and a redesigned vertical bearing housing. With no measurable free play in the bearing assemble, your cartridge tracks the record’s grooves as accurately as possible, giving the lowest distortion and most detailed playback possible.
A joy to use
The TA-3 is straightforward and easy to use. For placing it precisely on the record you can either use the smoothly-damped lift/lower arm and/or the finger lift by the cartridge. When not in use, a sturdy catch clips the tonearm into place, making it less vulnerable to being knocked off its rest, potentially damaging the stylus.
