A new Performance standard
Always an impressive performer, the Elipson Planet L Performance takes sound quality to the next level. With an all-new coaxial driver, it has almost double the power handling capacity of the non-Performance version. The silk dome tweeter is horn loaded for a linear extension of high frequency notes. The crossover now features high grade components, including thick OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) cabling for the finest resolution and detail.
Hi-Fi sound
They might not look like traditional hi-fi speakers but the Elipson Planet L Performance sound every bit as good. The two-way design matches the silk dome tweeter with 6.5" woofer for true, full-range sound. The coaxial design also delivers pin-point accuracy and stunning staging realism. The globe-shaped design isn't there just for style, either. The shape breaks standing and diffraction waves to reduce distortion and promote a less 'boxy' sound.
Enhanced bass response
Thanks to its new DAR® (Double Asymmetric Rubber) technology, the bass cone is controlled with absolute precision – even at higher volumes. This not only ensures improved dynamics, with a punchier response, but also gives the speakers a higher power handling of up to 100 watts.
