Many active subwoofers feature a line level or LFE (Low Frequency Effects) RCA phono input but no option to connect directly to your amp’s speaker outlets. The SVS SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter bridges this gap, making it possible to connect any amp to any subwoofer with line level inputs.
How it connects
Simply wire the SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter to your amp or hi-fi system as you would a regular pair of speakers. You can use the second set of speaker terminals if fitted or, if not, simply use a speaker cable that splits the signal to both speakers and adapter. The signal is then converted by the adapter before being outputted to your subwoofer via regular interconnects or subwoofer cable.
