JBL extreme 3Purchased a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with the results.
I was going to purchase the new Sonos roam 2 for a similar price but I took the advice from the Richer Sounds adviser as sound quality was the most important thing on my list.
Sound is very punchy for its size with decent bass and battery life.

JBL Xtreme 3 Bluetooth SpeakerI bought this item in May 2024, and it is absolutely fantastic, I'm really impressed with it, and genuinely use it every day.
I speak as an audiophile/home cinema enthusiast who loves Hi-Fi separates, appreciates true quality Hi-Fi components to reproduce music, exactly as it was recorded and as the sound engineers intended.
The JBL Xtreme 3 produces great clarity of sound, great stereo separation, good middle & treble and really impressive tight bass that doesn't distort.
To be honest, the quality of sound and performance of the JBL Xtreme 3 was way beyond what I'd expected it to be from a portable Bluetooth speaker, although knowing that JBL is a high quality brand, this is basically like having a small to medium sized Hi-Fi, and is a great substitute for having your main Hi-Fi/Home Cinema separates on, when you want to listen to music in any room in your house or flat, but not want to disturb your neighbours after early evening.
Bluetooth connectivity is great, quick and easy to do via the bluetooth button on the top of the Bluetooth speaker, connects/pairs up to a modern desktop/laptop/smartphone with built in Bluetooth, with ease (Just make sure you have your Bluetooth switched on and enabled first, on whatever modern desktop/laptop/smartphone/device you are using, then press the bluetooth button on the JBL Xtreme 3, search for the JBL Xtreme 3 on your modern desktop/laptop/smartphone/device you are using, then you're good to go).
Enjoy using what is a great Bluetooth Speaker, this is a purchase, if you can afford it and are happy to spend £199 on what is a really good quality product, I can categorically assure you, you won't regret it, if you're after a high quality, high performing product that will impress & satisfy you're music/audio needs in the long term.
