Good sound, connectivity a little variable
Lovely sound and really weighty presentation for such small boxes. The app is good but the speakers so far have had a tendency to 'vanish' - ie 'no speaker connected' or being invisible as an option on Airplay. Only solution to this seems to be to unplug/plug in to restart them

Great Speakers
I was looking for a pair of wireless speakers to work with my existing CD player and also connect to my devices. The guys at Richer Sounds did a great job of helping me to understand the best options out there. As soon as I heard the sound from the speakers I knew they were the ones - incredibly clear but powerful for such a small package. My listening pleasure has totally changed

KEF LSX 2 sound wave and Roksan turntable .
Wanted a not too busy set up for my kitchen diner and these for the bill. Fantastic sound and look fab on speaker stands. Kef app makes connections a breeze. Loving the vinyl experience too . Sound of these speakers with family Spotify is soo good. Store was so helpful with solid advice as always . Nice quality connecting cable provided free of charge . Highly recommend Maidstone Richer Sounds - can’t go wrong !

Great pair of speakers for a small room
I've had these for a couple of weeks to replace a SONOS Beam soundbar and they are a definite upgrade. I bought them after researching what would be good for a non-audiophile but wants a easy set up quality speakers for Music and TV. Add to that the Kef app is very user friendly. Set up was easy although the on-line guides provided do gloss over some of the detail such as setting the speakers to wired set up on the app. Normal efficient deliver from Richer Sounds.

Worthy of a Review
Not being an audiophile, I invested in these particular KEF LSX 11 active speakers because of their size and wireless concept of listening to music with minimal clutter. The (Soundwave) model is also aesthetically very pleasing and would adorn most rooms. They are a solid, quality construction and were packed really well for delivery.
I downloaded the KEF instruction manual prior to purchase and read it several times as they are quite an advancement for me and the information supplied in the box was reviewed as being minimal.
Richer Sound Plymouth also arranged a demonstration for me prior to purchase.
The KEF Connect App is an important component of the package that you will need. It is the key interface in setting up and controlling the speakers and I found it relatively easy to use and later preferred it to the supplied remote control, which works well but only has certain functions.
Setting up is clearly explained if you follow the prompts and only takes a few minutes.
I initially connected my turntable to the speakers via Bluetooth and the quality of sound was amazing.
Wifi is also a feature that links to various streaming services (Tidal was available on a 90 day free trial) that deliver music seamlessly through the KEF App.
KEF recommend using a 5GHz setting on your router if you get any problems with the 2.5Ghz dropping out (as it did several times) but converting my router was a doddle and a quick press of the re-set button on the speakers allowed me to select the 5GHz address and that has solved the issue.
Tidal have some MQA audio music files but to take full advantage of them you might want to wire your two KEF speakers together with the supplied lead but the outcome is truly rewarding.
The speakers also allow me to listen to my favourite radio station (which I can only get on the internet) using ‘Apple Air Play’ from my phone or iPad via the WiFi function.
Out of curiosity, I also purchase a RCA to Aux cable to play my records as an alternative to Bluetooth. The quality of the sound is marginally better but both methods work seamlessly through the KEF App.
I am also aware there are connections for the TV, CD Player, Computer and a Subwoofer but I have not yet used these but the evidence so far suggests the sound will be amazing as well.
Are they worth the investment? Difficult to answer as we will all have different opinions and expectations. They are a small, powerful, quality speaker, extremely versatile, look fantastic and their output is truly outstanding and I am thankful for the help Richer Sounds Plymouth (Bradley, Josh and Jamie) provided in demonstrating and procuring these for me. I would not want to be without them.
