With the Pro-Ject T1 EVO Phono you get a premium quality turntable that’s versatile enough to connect to almost any system. Featuring a built-in phono pre-amp, you can connect it to any hi-fi or powered speaker system with a spare input – no extra boxes required. The ease of use continues with electronic speed control and a pre-adjusted Ortofon OM10 cartridge.
Sound basics
The T1 EVO Phono is made by one of the best-selling and most respected turntable brands in the business – Pro-Ject. Buying a Pro-Ject turntable means buying into their ‘sound first’ design principles. This means that you get top quality engineering rather than ‘bells and whistles’. Technical highlights with the T1 EVO include a sand-blasted glass platter, stainless steel and brass bearing, precision CNC engineered platter and vibration absorbing feet. Put together, this rigorous design provides smooth and stable running for perfect pitch and lifelike sound.
Built-in phonostage
With this version of the T1 EVO, you also get a built-in switchable phono pre-amp (also known as a phonostage). This means that you can wire the deck up to any hi-fi system with an ‘AUX’ input, without the need for a separate box. Alternatively, the T1 EVO Phono can still be wired into an amp’s phono input – just switch the turntable’s phono pre-amp off.
Electronic speed control
For easy switching between LPs and singles, the Pro-Ject T1 EVO Phono features electronic speed change. Rather than having to lift the platter and physically change the belt to another pulley, the speed is changed at the touch of a button. If you regularly switch between 33 and 45rpm records, this feature proves to be a great convenience and time saver.
Aluminium tonearm with high quality connection cable
Continuing its strong hi-fi credentials, the Pro-Ject T1 EVO Phono is supplied with a high quality tonearm. Made from a single piece of aluminium, it's both light and rigid. The more rigid the more precisely it tracks, making listening to your records a more involving experience. For the best connection with your system, the turntable is supplied with a highly shielded, low-capacitance Pro-Ject Connect it Phono RCA cable.
Supplied with Ortofon OM10 cartridge
Part of the all-inclusive package includes a pre-fitted Ortofon OM10 cartridge. Highly regarded, this top quality budget cartridge gives a smooth, detailed sound that’s at home with all types of music. As part of the Optimum Match (OM) range, the stylus is upgradable to 20, 30 and 40 models, giving plenty of scope for future upgrading.
