A step-up in sound
Built for sound above all else, the Project T1 features levels of engineering excellence that you might not expect at this price. With a specification that includes a CNC machined plinth with isolation feet, a glass platter, one-piece tonearm and a quality Ortofon cartridge, the T1 is made to class-leading standards. Add in the Bluetooth output and it becomes an unbeatable package.
Bluetooth output
With its standard Bluetooth output, the T1 BT opens up a whole range of new connection possibilities. Perfect for connecting to a Bluetooth speaker or a Bluetooth enabled hi-fi system, the wireless connection lets you place the turntable much further away from the system than would otherwise be possible. Plus, it’s clutter-free!
Built-in phonostage
Another advantage with the BT version of the T1 turntable is a built-in phonostage (also known as a phono pre-amp). This means you can wire the deck up to any hi-fi system with an ‘AUX’ input. Alternatively, the T1 BT can still be wired into a phono input, just as with the standard T1.
Engineered for sound
Unlike many other turntables around this price, the Pro-Ject T1 BT has all the elements of a proper hi-fi turntable - just at a lower price. Rather than plastic, the CNC machined plinth is made from MDF. This gives lower resonance for reduced distortion. Mounted to the plinth is a steel/brass bearing that’s the same as the award-winning Essential III and, combined with the new heavy glass platter, provides smooth and stable running for perfect pitch.
Single piece aluminium tonearm
Continuing its hi-fi credentials, the Pro-Ject T1 BT is supplied with a good quality tonearm. Made from a single piece of aluminium, it's both light and rigid. The more rigid the more precisely it tracks, making listening to your records a more involving experience. For ease of use the tracking forces are preset and ready to go.
Ortofon OM5E cartridge supplied
Part of the standard package includes a pre-fitted Ortofon OM5E cartridge. Highly regarded, this quality budget cartridge gives a smooth, detailed sound that’s at home with all types of music. As part of the Optimum Match (OM) range, the stylus is upgradable to 10, 20, 30 and 40 models, giving plenty of scope for future upgrading.
Choice of finishes
The simple, elegant styling gives the T1 BT a sleek appearance. Available in black, white or walnut, there’s a colour to suit you. All models come with a removable dust lid.

Pro-Ject T1 Turntable
I purchased the Pro-Ject T1-BT turntable on an upgrade basis, I researched the different options available to me within my budget range. The T1 deck has a minimalistic appearance, with the tone arm being the main component on display. The power switch is mounted on the LHS of the unit which is easily accessible and discreet. I have connected the output to an auxiliary input on a Bose speaker using the cables supplied with the deck. However Blue Tooth remains a connectivity option going forward but I like the analogue treatment the cables provide. I chose the piano black finish (which looks great) and I am very pleased with the sound, but I am now researching available speaker options. Altogether a very nice unit and one that I would recommend.

Great service, great product!
I went to a RicherSounds shop to buy my turntable as the review were excellent online, and I can confirm that the customer service was excellent and friendly, no question was a bother!
The T1 BT turntable is very easy to set up and the sound quality is excellent, I would definitely recommend.

Great sounding kit and easy to set up
Bought this for my Dad so he could bring his old records out the loft again. Very simple to set up and sounds fantastic. Bluetooth may need some work. Only gave four stars as the cables (power and phono) supplied are extremely short

Brilliant Turntable
Really easy to set up although had a problem pairing it with Google nest speakers but once paired with a Harmon Kardon bluetooth speaker was able to connect via the Google home app. Quality piece of kit, sound is brilliant and fast and excellent service from RS.

Easy to use and great sound
I am very pleased with this purchase from the Reigate store. Space is at a premium for me so finding a good quality turntable that I can connect to my speakers via Bluetooth is a great solution. The turntable was very easy to set up and produces a super quality sound.
My only regret? Not buying one ages ago!
