Native 4K HDR resolution for cinematic detail
Taking cinematic projection to the next level, the GP500 features native 4K HDR resolution. With four times the detail of conventional Full HD projectors, you’ll see lifelike images that are brimming with detail. Movies spring to life with image depth and realism that are closer than ever to the director’s original view. Other benefits include being able to use larger screens and sitting closer, without the same loss of detail as Full HD projectors.

CinematicColor and HDR10 deliver the truest colour
Maximising the native 4K resolution, this BenQ home cinema projector utilises BenQ’s CinematicColor and HDR10 support. CinematicColor technology delivers 90% DC—P3 colour for superb realism and colour depth. HDR10 support lets you see previously hidden parts of the picture, with brighter detail within darker images.

4LED for long-lasting quality
BenQ uses an auto-balance colour system for consistent, natural colour over the projector’s lifetime. This means that even after ten years play (used for 5 hours a day on average), the colour, brightness and contrast will still be at peak performance.

See the bigger picture
With the potential for a 150 inch image, the GP500 makes even the biggest TVs look tiny. Thanks to 4K HDR resolution, the 150 inch image is crystal-clear and delivered with the projector just 3.32 metres from your screen. A 120 image is achieved from 2.7 metres and a, still impressive, 100 inch picture with the projector a mere 2.2 metres away.

360-degree sound field – tailored to you
For authentic cinema sound, the GP500 uses a multi-speaker array, with treVolo processing for holographic audio. The expanded casing, with bass reflex design gives you deeper bass for a more balanced sound. So that you get the best sonic experience, the projector also puts you in the sweet spot. Individual speaker channel switching means you get perfect sound balance, wherever you sit in the room.

Installation made easy
A wide range of picture adjustments make for easy installation. Screen Fit and 2D Keystone correction line up the image with your screen, giving a distortion-free image across the screen. Auto Focus makes sure that the picture is always super-sharp while Object Avoidance gets around the need to move any pictures or mirrors you may have on the projected wall.

Stream your entertainment, with Android TV
Fitted with an Android Smart TV dongle, the GP500 delivers a huge range of streaming entertainment. Google-certified Android TV accesses Google Play’s store, with thousands of Android apps to bring you the content you want. Check out movies, box sets, TV shows, news, sports and games – all under one roof.

Screen sharing for Apple and Android
Whether you have an Apple iOS or Android device, you can enjoy wireless screen sharing – perfect for casting a video from your Apple iPhone/iPad or Android smartphone or tablet. Use Apple AirPlay to link with your iOS device or Google Chromecast for Android streaming.

Connect to all your sources
Twin HDMI inputs, with Audio Return on HDMI 2, lets you plug in your Blu-ray player, games console or set-top TV box (the supplied Android TV dongle uses an internal HDMI connection). A pair of USB sockets are also on hand to both charge and playback from media devices. For music, simply connect to your smartphone, tablet or laptop via Bluetooth and use the GP500’s beefy audio system as a Bluetooth speaker.
