Developed to have the finest tech spec in its class, the NODE X exceeds many more expensive streamers. New to the ‘X’ is a premium ESS Sabre DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor). Usually reserved for high-end hi-fi and AV products, this reference quality DAC gives the NODE X a real boost in its musical rendition. Coupled with this, a Quad-Core ARM processor helps gives deliver not just dynamic, true-to-life sound quality but slick operation, too.
Elevated headphone performance
As well as the new DAC, the NODE X also features a state of art headphone amplifier, with THX’s Achromatic Audio Amplifier (THX AAA) technology built-in. THX AAA delivers incredibly smooth, linear sound with ultra-low levels of distortion. As well as truly lifelike sound, the amp also delivers a high current, dynamic output, meaning you can use a wider range of high-end headphones (plugged in via a hi-fi grade 6.35mm socket).

The streamer is really excellent and using Tidal the sound quality is warm and detailed just as we like it. BluOS app is easy to use.Overall a really excellent purchase that has breathed new life into our musical Fidelity system.

Pared-back, unobtrusive design. Easy setup via the app. which offers impressive range of connections, formats etc. Only negative: Tunein limits internet radio to its most insular! There is a workaround via the url(s) but it muddies the overall sleakness of implementation. Streaming, on the other hand, is faultless.
