DALI RUBICON 2 (Gloss Black)
Speakers Per Pair
High quality drive units for reduced distortion
At the heart of the Rubicon 2's you'll find an SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnet system. This highly specialised feature is designed to provide the most accurate speaker control and ultra-low levels of distortion. Featuring low-loss, wood fibre woofers that are based on Dali's reference grade Epicon speakers and a soft dome tweeter, the Rubicon 2 delivers a sound so accurate that it can be truly classed as 'reference' grade.
Cabinets made to the highest standards
The solid cabinets have been designed for low levels of resonance, giving low distortion and helping to promote a natural sound. Finished in a wide range of high quality designs, such as High Gloss Black or walnut veneer, there's a look to suit your decor.
Compact and versatile
Ideal for small to medium-sized rooms, Dali has designed the Rubicon 2 to be as flexible as possible. Compact enough to be mounted on a desk or shelf (with, ideally, a minimum of 20cm of space behind) but also at their best when mounted on suitable stands and given plenty of space to 'breathe', the Rubicon 2s always impress.
Compact and unobtrusive yet also one of the most musical speakers at its price, the Dali Rubicon 2 has the power to impress.
To get the best from these premium speakers, we recommend speaker cables from premium suppliers Audioquest, Atlas, Chord and QED. Custom made lengths and terminations are also available. Please ask in store for advice.
Rated 5 out of 5 by jpoly from Great speakers, Great service I absolutely love these speakers. I have been on quite a journey over the last few years, with the Q Acoustics 3010i, Kef Q150, KEF LS50 Meta, ATC SMC11 and finally the Dali Rubicon 2. I have a small room and decent front end equipment: Pi4 Volumio using Qobuz streaming, Chord Quest DAC, Audiolab 8300a and have tried all the speakers listed. Generally I have found significant improvement in the first few speakers and less improvement as I have moved on but still improvements, mainly in the midrange and treble. I complement all these speakers with an SVS SB 3000 sub, although the Rubicon 2 hardly need it. I listen to all types of music from classical & jazz to hiphop and reggae. Where the KEF LS50 Meta and ATC SMC11 have their strengths I find the Rubicon 2 the best all rounders. On a service note I received my Rubicon 2 speakers with differing serial numbers. There are made in pairs and should have matching serial numbers just with an L and R differentiating them. On receipt I noted this issue and contacted Richer Sounds. They arrange for a pair with matching serial numbers to be sent to me next day and collect the initial pair they sent me at the same time. I could not have asked for better support and expediency. Great speakers, great service as always, thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by S Jam from Superb sound! I bought these speakers a month ago after trying other speakers at Richer Sounds. I initially listened to the Focal Aria and liked them, but then listened to the Revel Concerta2 M16, which I thought better (they should be at £250 more). I would have been happy to buy these but on trying the Dalis I was even more impressed by the sound quality. I now have them at home and am delighted with them. I am hearing details that I did not hear before from a pair of quite expensive but old floor standers, and they really produce excellent sound in all kinds of music, from solo instruments to full orchestra, from solo voice with guitar to noisy rock. They are really high quality speakers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ba5her from Great great speakers Bought these a few months ago now and as with all investments in audio there is a period of panic and stress as you wrestle with your brain and ears to acclimatise to what you have bought and whether your hard earnt cash has been wisely invested... Are they right, are they good, should I have bought something else.... After some months of constant adjustments with all the sources, amp and fine tuning positioning (they are not fussy just how much to turn them in) I can tell you these speakers are absolutely phenomenal. Simply fantastic. They breadth and depth of what they do extraordinary, each speaker feels like a stereo speaker in its own right. Tracks like dave brubeck's take five and miles Davis so what are an experience. The imaging is wonderful and they offer up so much detail. Tony Allen and Jeff Mills ' track on the run is frankly absurd. As I can tell the right channel does the bass and its tight and full and makes people smile with the depth... Its from one speaker!!!!! Importantly it's the detail these 2 ways put over the ample and precise bass that make them so special. I could go on but they have it all. They need some power but wow the smc magnet takes them loud with no noticeable harshness or distortion. Mine are paired with and bluesound node 2i, chrod interconnects to a Cambridge azur 851a with qed xt 40 cables. I have a nad c558 turntable with project phono box plus phono stage... Couldn't be happier with the setup. May invest in a dac. Any how I am delighted with these speakers, they are great and worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yeatz89 from Speaker Perfection I recently purchased these from the Edinburgh store after looking at upgrading my Dali Opticon 1's. What an upgrade! These speakers are incredible for any music genre, their timing and energy make music come alive and provide new life to your music collection. These Rubicon’s provide a huge sound stage with a very airy “big speaker” sound. Their stereo imaging provides a very accurate representation of the original recording and I feel I am finally getting to listen to music how the producers and artists intended. My original Opticons had a very forward treble and needed to be backed up with a subwoofer for a good balance, but this isn’t a problem with the Rubicons. They provide a rich tight bass response that’s beautify balanced and very surprising for only a 6.5 inch bass driver. Dali really do know how to make speakers for music lovers.
