Packing in a great amount of KEF knowhow into its compact cabinet, the KEF Q150 is a small speaker that makes a big impression.
World famous Uni-Q technology for a natural sound stage
The KEF Q150 uses a famous KEF technology to great effect, with the Uni-Q drive unit. This involves positioning the treble unit in the middle of the woofer, creating a single point source for sound across the frequency range. The end result of this is a broader, more cohesive sound that offers excellent stereo within a wider listening area.
Improved treble
A new damped loading system greatly reduces distortion, giving a smoother, more detailed top-end. The "tangerine" wave guide system helps the treble integrate more smoothly with the mid-range.
Aluminium woofer cone with Z-Flex surround for low distortion
Made from lightweight yet rigid aluminium, the woofer unit is fast to respond and linear in its response. This helps give life-like dynamics and low levels of distortion. Using technologies developed in their high-end Concept Blade speakers, the Q150 offers attention to detail not usually seen in speakers at this level. The Z-Flex woofer surround gives superior cone control, helping it blend seamlessly with the treble unit for a more even and consistent sound.
Sleek design
With the bass port now moved to the back, the Q150 looks sleeker than ever. Available in black or white the minimalist style is a design classic.
Ideal for quality stereo in small rooms or as part of a superior AV system, the KEF Q150 is a compact classic.

KEF Q150
I recently bought a pair of Q150 on offer at £299. The team at London Bridge were awesome. I could take my time and listen to three pairs of speakers. The KEF Q150 were by far the best pair. I left the store having order a pair in white white were delivered within a few days.
Excellent service. I can but only recommend the London Bridge store.

Surprisingly good
These had a difficult job replacing some Qmassive Kef speakers which had to be pensioned off to make way for a new radiator.
Knew the downgrade would disappoint, but the Q150's are doing a good job in making up for the downsizing!
Probably need to spend some time rejigging the amp to bring out the best of the new speakers, but I am extremely happy with the performance of the Q150. If only the production crews of TV programmes took the same care over sound recording that KEF take in their speaker design, the world would be a better sounding place

Amazing speakers
Absolutely amazing speakers in all areas. The design is flawless, build quality solid and all round sound is unbelievable. I'm running them off a vintage Denon PMA350 (£50 used) and it hold up really well

Lovely compact speakers.
I bought these speakers a few weeks ago after reading several reviews. I am really pleased with the purchase as these speakers offer a powerful and punchy bass and the overall sound us excellent.
I have to commend Richersounds on their excellent service!

Impressive quality
I bought these a couple of weeks ago since my KEF Cadenza speakers are too large for the new listening room. The clarity of sound via my Denon CEOL RCD-N11 is remarkable. Nothing was missing across the tonal range in the Beethoven 4th Piano Concerto. I was hesitant about 'risking' such small speakers, but am glad I took the plunge.

The big sounding small speaker
Having to change from my monitor audio floor standers I was more than a little hesitant but my good lady said they were too big and being walnut didn’t match the decor so the brief was a small white speaker and I am so glad she pushed me that way. The Q140’s were shortlisted and after the first listen it was a ‘must buy’ they sound incredible, the base is not lacking for such a small cabinet. I would go as far as to say the base is more pronounced and more alive than the monitor audios, and the crispness is incredible, definitely worth the money, we are both very happy, her with the appearance and me with the sound.

Great performance for the price
bought after demo with my own Rega Brio, compared against, Kef Q350, B&W 606 & 607 S2 Anniversary, wiped the floor, great detail, soundstage, more than adequate bass extension, for the price point hard to fault, obvious pro’s and cons in comparison to the other speakers demo’d but on the overall………..unbeatable.
