Long distances – without signal loss
Passive copper cables over around 3-5 metres in length, struggle to maintain high-band signal quality. For consistent and reliable results, an active cable is required. QED’s Ultra High Speed Active Technology uses fibre optics rather than copper cores. Just as with your broadband connection, fibre ensures an enhanced response and, in this case, the ability to remain fully compliant with Ultra High Speed signals over a distance up to 20m.

Ultra High Speed HDMI certification makes this cable suitable for use with a wide range of standards. These include 8K and 4K high rate Hz resolution via HDMI 2.1. Offering a high 48GBps bandwidth, the cable is suitable for data heavy, UHD video – glitch-free. It’s also compatible with the latest Audio Return Channel – eARC.

It’s not just the longer length that makes this QED HDMI cable suitable for installations. With its Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket, it complies with most fire regulations. I had an audio cable problem and having bimbled around the web, decided to speak to someone, my go to company for this is Richer Sounds and they did not let me down. Great advice, friendly service and no attempt to sell me more than I needed.

Fantastic service, once again!
The guys in the Middlesbrough branch are absolutely outstanding. When purchasing a new TV and soundbar recently they took the time to discuss options, demonstrate kit and look into technical specifications to ensure we were getting the best product to suite our needs.
