At 3 metres each, these terminated cables are ideal for medium-sized rooms and are the ideal length for many systems. With the plugs already fitted, simply plug in and go.
Airloc Forte plugs for the best quality termination
QED’s Airloc cold weld system ensures a high contact, long-lasting join between the plugs and cable. This not only gives the best sound possible but also excellent durability, with no chance of a dry solder break or lose connection screw. The Forte plugs use a spring loaded connection pin for a tight connection with all 4mm speaker terminals.

Building on the award-winning original, the XT40i adds new tech to make the best, better still. The new Air Gap dielectric improves the sound’s precision, while improved X-Tube technology enhances the stereo imagining and realism.
Air Gap dielectric
For the improved XT40i, QED has increased the separation between conductors, creating a low-loss Air Gap dielectric. This improves the dissipation and capacitance characteristics, resulting in many sonic improvements. In terms of carrying a rhythm and timing, the XT40i is better than ever.
X-tube technology
Conventional cables can fail to conduct high frequencies uniformly across the entire conductor area. QED's X-Tube cable technology allows a near-linear signal transfer at treble frequencies for greater detail and realism of sound - especially at higher frequencies.
Very low resistance – ideal for longer runs
A further benefit with the QED XT40i cable is the large 4mm squared cross sectional cable area. Combined with the use of 99.999% oxygen-free copper cable, there's very low resistance, which makes it easier for your amplifier to drive your speakers, no matter what its power rating. It also makes the cable suitable for longer cable runs, with less signal loss over longer lengths.

Great quality cable
Purchased as part of a new system, so difficult to compare with other cable, but very pleased with the sound quality. The banana plugs make for a more secure and reliable connection. As always, the help and advice from Mikey at the Leeds store was second to none.

Solid build
The cables look and feel solid, terminated with some quality Airloc banana plugs.
For my Hi-Fi setup (Marantz PM7000N amp + Dali Oberon 5 speakers) I wouldn't say the improvement in sound is spectacular, but it is noticeable, with improved sound clarity and channel separation.
They are probably not worth double the price compared to the QED XT25 for my Hi-Fi system and perhaps they need a more expensive setup to unleash their full potential, or, maybe just like with speakers they sound better after some burn-in time.
As a bonus compared to the QED25, I like their silver colour better.
All in all I'm quite happy with the product and would recommend for someone wanting the best sound from their Hi-Fi system.

Excellent cables.......
Pricey but well worth the money, improved the sound from a pair of MA Bronze 200's. Buy wise, buy once.

Quality speaker cables
After plenty of research, I opted for XT40i as cables with great quality/value balance.
Connecting my MF M3si with a pair of Focal Aria 906s, there are everything that I was hoping for. The sound is fantastic and the quality of factory terminated cables is outstanding.
My only regret is not opting for spades as bananas protrude a lot and my amp cannot go closer to the wall but that is entirely on me.
