Design Flaw
I have two Caspian M2 cd players, one Caspian M2 integrated amplifier, a Kandy cd player and Kandy integrated amplifier, so I am not averse to Roksan. But, within 24 hours of purchasing the M2 power amplifier, I have concluded that I need to explore how to return it to the shop.
The issue (and it is the only one, but certainly one that is a real frustration) is the automatic "standby" setting that the unit switches to if there is no (or very low) input. Another reviewer has already reviewed this in the context of using the amplifier in an AV set-up, where there may well be very quiet periods within the music. But I had not appreciated just how bad this was, when listening to any music source.
If you are prepared to miss the first nine seconds of the first cd that you attempt to play through the amplifier, then the Roksan Caspian M2 line amplifier provides excellent amplification. But, if you expect to play a cd and hear it from the beginning then, unless it is immediately following on from playing a previous cd, the only way to do so is to start the cd playing then, when the line amplifier wakes up (after nine seconds or so), stop the cd and restart it from the beginning.
I have never come across quite such a ridiculous design. A simple "standby" button on the fascia would have resulted in a five-star review.

Exceptional Power Amplifier
Already owned a Roksan Caspian setup so when it came time to acquire another power amp for my AV system there was only one way to go. The power and control are first class.

Roksan Caspian Power Amp
I’ve got a Caspian M2 bi Amp pairing. I’m not very techy so I’ll only be able to give you a honest layman’s view on things , the power amp paired up with its sibling the integrated gives you 3 to 4 times more muscle and soundstage, if your speakers are bi wire-able and you add a power amp to the LF hang tight for some KO punch but controlled elegance the integrated can’t give you on it’s Todd. I reckon a Caspian pairing can compete with a Supernait but is smoother, everything is subjective though. If you like the Roksan sound I implore you if your speakers can accommodate to shell out, you will not feel short changed.

Enhances all round performance
I am so happy that I purchased this power amp to complement my Roksan Caspian M2 integrated amp and cd player. The all round performance has been enhanced, clearer treble and base, and a more precise sound stage. Performance aside, the Caspian M2's also look amazing!

Amazing sounding but deeply flawed design
Most people won't think to pair this amp with a surround sound system so many will never experience this. But if you are thinking of doing so - DONT!
I have this amp as capable as operating as both the stereo component of a 5.1 system and also a dedicated stereo system.
The issue is this amp has been fitted with a ridiculously annoying auto shut off feature, that when the volume drops below a certain threshold, turns off the amp. This is the sort of thing you expect from a cheap sub but not at 1.5k amp!!
Surely a 12v trigger would have been a more professional solution rather than spending all that development money on this ridiculous system that do does not appear to have any kind of defeat. The manuals solution is to "play it louder" - WHAT!!!
There is a perfectly serviceable power switch on the front - WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST USE IT!
Unfortunately I've been unable to return it as it's sound is ridiculously good!

Roksan Caspian Power Amp
I bought this to go with my Caspian integrated amp to bi-amplify my B&W PM1 speakers and also got new runs of QED XT400 speaker cables and a QED Reference interconnect. As a VIP member the store gave me a great discount on all of this. I bought the amp based on reviews and hoped that I'd done the right thing!
Well, the reviews were right and the power amp is a fantastic addition. The speakers sounded great before. Now there is a clear step up in terms of separation and bass heft. The sound is more airy and vocals are fantastic.
It was well worth the investment!
