Improved sound quality
Featuring a brand new DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) and improvements to the amp’s power supply and output filters, the Rotel A14MKII sounds better than ever. The Texas Instruments 32 bit/384kHz DAC delivers powerful, Hi-Res compatible processing. This benefits every digital source you connect – from network streamer to TV and games console. With technical knowledge learned from the A11 Tribute model, the A14MKII has a richer and more life-like sound than before.
The power to impress
At the heart of the A14MKII is a custom made, toroidal power transformer. Along with the four, slit-foil output capacitors, this gives the Rotel A14MKII deep, effortless power. With 80 watts per channel, the amp easily drives speakers to high levels – even in larger rooms. At lower volumes, you’ll notice the well-balanced sound that still has a smooth, rich bass response.
PC-USB connection, with MQA compatibility
For top quality, digital music, simply connect your laptop or PC to the dedicated USB-B input. Compatible with digital files up to 32 bit/384kHz, this is the way to hear your stored or streamed digital music files at their very best. The interface is also compatible with MQA and MQA Studio files (up to 24 bit/384kHz). You’ll find this increasingly popular file format used by high-end streamers, such as TIDAL, making the A14 MKII even more flexible.
High quality, wireless connectivity
With a Bluetooth receiver built-in, you can stream music from your smartphone, tablet or other compatible device, wirelessly. Compatible with aptX and AAC, it’s a high quality device that lets you stream music to a high quality standard – perfect for premium versions of your favourite music streaming service.
As well as the PC-USB and Bluetooth connectivity, the A14MKII also features a wide range of other digital source connections. There are twin optical and coaxial inputs – perfect for a CD player, network streamer, TV and games console. At the front, you’ll find a USB-A sockets that’s ideal for media devices and playing back stored music files.
As well as all the digital connectivity, the A14MKII also impresses with its wide range of wired connectivity. There’s a phono input for a turntable with MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge, four line level inputs and a pre output for adding a larger power amp. More unusually, there are also RS232, external remote and 12-volt trigger sockets, all of which lend themselves to multi-room home entertainment applications – no wonder this is a Roon certified amplifier.
A wide range of features includes two sets of speaker outputs, remote control, dimmable display and a 3.5mm headphone socket.
Built to Rotel’s high standards, the A14MKII is impressively solid. The clean, minimalist styling is timeless and matches a wide range of other components. Choose between black and silver for the best fit with your other hi-fi components.
Enjoy an amp with timeless appeal, with the Rotel A14MKII.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hollies5317704 from Well worth the money The overall sound is excellent the only minor snag is that you've got to turn the volume control up to 50 to be able to hear anything but this is just a very small quibble. The sound overall is excellent.
