Stylish, easy to use and dedicated to the best sound-per-pound, the Argon Audio TT MK2 has just what it takes to make it the ideal introduction to the joys of vinyl.
Ready for your vinyl discovery The Argon Audio TT MK2 turntable has everything you need for top quality vinyl sound in one, easy to use package. Fitted with an aluminium tonearm and Audio Technica cartridge, the turntable is ready to play. Thanks to its built-in phono pre-amp, you can even plug it straight into your powered speakers or hi-fi system. Simple controls and a wide range of stylish finishes complete this ideal ‘first step’ turntable.
Focused on quality sound Although it’s easy to use, that doesn’t mean that sound quality has been compromised. An upgraded motor powers a metal platter, giving smooth and stable sound. The sturdy MDF plinth helps isolate the mechanism, for a natural sound, uncoloured by vibrations.
Built-in phono pre-amp for flexible connectivity For near universal connectivity, the TT MK2 features a built-in phono pre-amp. This means you can wire the deck up to any hi-fi or speaker system with an ‘AUX’ input, with no extra devices required (RCA cable supplied but your system may require an RCA to 3.5mm adapter).
Complete package – with tonearm and Audio Technica cartridge supplied Fitted with an adjustable, aluminium tonearm, the TT MK2 is all set for precise and accurate tracking. Part of the standard package also includes a pre-fitted Audio Technica AT3600 cartridge. This top brand budget cartridge gives a smooth, detailed sound that’s at home with all types of music.
Simple speed change With many decks in this class you either have no speed control or a fiddly twin pulley system that means you manually have to move the belt from one pulley to another. With the TT MK2 however, you get a simple switch that adjusts between 33 and 45 speeds at the click of a dial. If you have a decent collection of singles and regularly switch speeds, switchable speed control makes all the difference to your user experience.
Wide choice of finishes to suit your style The simple, elegant styling gives the TT MK2 timeless appeal. For the style that best suits your décor, it’s also available in a wide range of colours, including Black, Pine Green, Atlantic Blue, Walnut, Satin Mahogany, Earth Grey and Electric Amber. For practicality, all models come with a removable dust lid.
Start your vinyl journey in style, with the Argon Audio TT MK2.
The Cambridge Audio AXA25 puts sound first - great sound simply doesn’t get much better than this.
No bells and whistles, just great sound Inside the AXA25 you’ll find quality components and short signal paths for the best sound quality in its class. Careful circuit design reduces the signal path, giving higher purity sound and less distortion. Other quality engineering components include a high-spec heat sink that is die-cast rather than pressed steel and a damped power supply – reducing the chance of annoying transformer hum and buzz.
All the features you need Although Cambridge Audio hasn’t wasted money on gimmicks, the AXA25 still has all the basic features you need. Balance, Bass and Treble controls let you tailor the sound to your preference, without overly distorting it as EQ presets can do. There are also a wide range of inputs.
Plenty of inputs – including one at the front Four RCA phono inputs are ideal for a CD player, streamer, games console and turntable. There’s also a 3.5mm AUX input at the front that’s handy for temporary connections – such as an MP3 player or smartphone. The audio output lets you take a signal out to an external processor or recorder.
Power your music player or Bluetooth receiver Next to the audio inputs you’ll also find a handy USB power socket. This is perfect for powering Bluetooth receivers or smart audio streaming devices, such as the Google Chromecast Audio, without having to find another spare mains socket.
Sleek new style The entire Cambridge AX Series has a fresh new look that catches the eye. The Lunar Grey front panel contrasts with the black top and sides, making it ‘pop’ into crisp focus. The minimalist button count give a timeless style that’s typical of the Cambridge Audio brand. The teardrop facia with wedge foot mirrors the CX Series, showing a strong family link between ranges.
Make your move into hi-fi separates in style, with the class-leading Cambridge Audio AXA25.
”The Spektor 1s are ideal if you’re looking for small, affordable speakers that deliver great sound.” ‘What Hi-Fi?' - 5 Star review.
Compact and versatile speakers At less than 24cm high, the Spektor 1 speakers are ideal for where space is tight. As well as making great stereo speakers for smaller rooms they also suit surround sound home cinema or quality desk-top systems.
Famous DALI design Key to the Spektor's detailed, refined and powerful yet tuneful sound quality is the bespoke wood fibre bass woofer. Also used in its more expensive models, it gives a dynamic and precise sound. Partnering the impressive bass unit is a similarly high-performing treble unit. Soft dome construction gives upper notes a smooth yet precise sound, and when taken as a whole, the Spektor 1 is simply one of the most natural-sounding speakers at its price point.
Well-made and practical As you'd expect from this high-end Danish speaker brand, the Spektor's are well made, with smooth edges and a classic black finish to complement most separates. At their best on stands, the Spektor 1s also feature brackets for wall mounting.
With the DALI Spektor 1, Danish sound just got better value than ever.
