High performance Hi-Res, made affordable
Featuring an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor and Android 13 OS, the FiiO M21 puts powerful, Hi-Res Audio playback in the palm of your hand. Fully balanced 2-stage amplification and 4x CS43198 DACs (Digital to Analogue Convertors) ensure richly detailed sound, with ultra-low levels of distortion. Use in desktop mode and the output power increases, making it ideal for using with your home headphones, too.
Five-Modes for playback versatility
More than just a Hi-Res Audio player, the M21 has five different playback modes to suit various needs. Pure Music Mode works as a traditional Hi-Res music player, with music played from the storage cards. Android Mode lets you download apps and take advantage of music streaming. AirPlay mode makes the ideal mode for pairing with your Apple Mac and streaming music from that. Bluetooth Receiving mode creates a wireless link to your smartphone or even a Bluetooth turntable. Finally, USB DAC mode lets you use the system as an updated DAC for your computer.
Balanced headphone output
As well as delivering the power to drive your headphones, the M21 also has the connectivity to match. For balanced headphones, the M21 has a 4.4mm output. Using a balanced signal between the source and headphones reduces noise and interference and is especially handy on the move. A standard 3.5mm single-ended socket is also fitted.
Desktop mode
More than just a top quality portable player, the FIIO M21 also quickly adapts to your desktop system. At the flick of a switch, desktop mode (D.MODE) is activated. This disconnects the battery and switches the power supply to an external source.
Twin USB ports for power and signal
Working in conjunction with the Desktop mode, a dedicated USB-C socket accepts a pure power signal. When connected to a high current USB-C power source, Super High Gain Mode can be activated, and the player’s full power potential is obtained (up to 950mW per channel). This makes it ideal for driving high impedance headphones.
Use as a USB DAC for your smartphone, computer or laptop
With its second USB-C connection and high quality Cirrus Logic convertors, the M21 also makes a great standalone DAC for your smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. Much better than most internal DACs and PC soundcards, the M21 offers a great boost to your smartphone and computer’s sound quality.

Ideal for use with your Bluetooth headphones, the M21 is compatible with a wide range of high quality Bluetooth codecs, including LDAC, aptX and aptX HD. The high quality Bluetooth 5 system also supports receiving Bluetooth signals via SBC, AAC and LDAC codecs.
Long-lasting and fast charging battery
Specially selected for low-resistance and fast-charging characteristics, the battery array delivers up to 15 hours playback in single-ended mode and 12.5 hours in balanced. It also supports 20W PD fast charging, enabling quick recharging.

With 64GB of internal memory, the M21 can store hundreds of songs on its flash memory. With the addition of a micro SD card, this can be increased by up to a massive 2TB – enough for a lifetime’s collection of music.
