The KEF Kube 8 MIE is the smallest in the Kube range and ideal for smaller rooms. The compact size makes it easy to place, slipping behind or between furniture if required. Alternatively, the Kub 8 MIE is also ideal for multi-sub installations, where two or four subs are placed around the room for a more even spread of bass.

With KEF’s Music Integrity Engine®, you get to enjoy the benefit of a suite of proprietary DSP (Digital Signal Processing) algorithms that tailor the sound to perfection. The finely-tuned processing ensures that every component works in perfect harmony, giving you greater bass depth, snappier timing and the least distortion possible.
iBX for powerful bass that you can feel
An integral part of the MIE system is KEF’s iBX (Intelligent Bass Extension). This helps to maximise the bass depth from any given cabinet size. The iBX algorithm creates an extended depth of bass that easily exceeds expectations for this size of sub. Backing this up is a powerful 300 watts, Class-D amplifier. This is enough to power the high quality 8" bass unit to high levels and low frequencies. With effortless bass on tap, the Kube 8 MIE is ideal for both movies and music.
Tailor the sound to suit
Despite its high power rating, the KEF Kube is about more than just firepower. The sealed cabinet not only offers excellent rigidity but also gives a tight, controlled bass that's never overblown. A 3-position DSP (EQ) control allows adjustment of the Kube's response to compensate for different room acoustics and personal preference. There's also a phase switch. This lets you reverse the phase, giving perfectly timed bass whether the sub is in front or behind you.
